โ โ โ โ โ Basic but adequate accomodation from air-conditioned chalets to chalets & dorms with fans. Located a short distance from the main jetty. They have their own private jetty and boat transfer facilities. Food and drinks can also be ordered at the canteen.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice place, clean and A little remote. The mother cooks for guests: very good and cheap. Pick-up service readily available all day long.
Only downside is that you can hear your neighbours talking in their room.

โ โ โ โ โ We have booked 2 trips at the Mat Leon Village and we had the best experience! We hiked the Canopey Walkway with our guide who is born in the village and has more than 18 years guide experience! He was super friendly, happy to answer our questions and of course giving us also some of his experience about the wildlife during the hike. After we visited the Batek tribe together and then also he was a great point of contact. He gave us a lot of information about the tribe and again answered our questions with ease and joy. You can tell he feels comfortable with his surroundings and it makes your stay at the Taman Negara a great experience!!
Oh and his driving skills on the wild river are super impressive!!

โ โ โ โ โ Perfect place for an immersive jungle experience. We strongly suggest to follow Mat Leon's jungle tours and trekking: the guide is very well prepared and entertaining. The restaurant serves delicious malay dishes. The rooms are essentials and cleaned. We had a perfect time!

โ โ โ โ โ Basic accommodation, friendly staff, good food at lunch/evening, simple breakfast spread laid out in the morning as well as tra and coffee 24/7.
Nice spot on the river surrounded by jungle a short hilly walk from town. The jeep shuttle runs mean you don't really need to walk if you want to avoid it.
Would avoid the jungle night safari, we went on it and it was quite disappointing.
Definitely fo to Lata Berkoh. We walked there (4 hours) and organised a boat to bring us back, the scenery on the boat trip is incredible.

โ โ โ โ โ Weโve had an awesome 2 days with our guide. We spent a night in an observatory and trekked. The guide has a great knowledge of the jungle, always helping and explaining things. The accommodation is 2mn by car from the main jetty (free shuttle), basic bungalow but very clean with everything your need. The restaurant is really good too.
Highly recommended!
