★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered takeout for the herbal soup with hand made mee sua and the curry laksa noodle soup dish available only on weekends.
Both dishes were exceptional. The aroma from the herbal soup was brewed for hours as the taste was intense. The noodles merged and majesticly absorbed the soup essence. Eating the noddles almost felt like it melted into your mouth full of soup flavour. Unique and special indeed.
The traditional style curry laksa noodle soup dish was made perfectly, without the over use of oil nor spiciness one typically encounters with mediocre Malaysian food. Who normally drinks that oily curry soup? Usually not recommended because of its greasy feel. Not in this case. I drank all of it. Wonderful. Full of flavor but light tasting.
Based on the two dishes, one can feel the chef has a sense of elegance, refinement and passion in their cooking approach.
Not to mention, they didnt pack my takeaway in those cheap plastic bags, but real containers.
5 star quality vegetarian food in a reasonable price.
