It was just an hour drive from KL, from the noisy city into a quiet and peaceful houses of The dusun. 7 of us had a truly great time there, celebrated our friends’ birthday and fellowships over the 3days staycation. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staffs, Ms Iekin and Ms Asma for making the whole trip an memorable one. Recommended!

Its a great place if you are looking for jungle retreat, peace & quite. Love the fresh air and pool side. Remember to bring your mozzie spray / repellent. Your own food especially for your dinner Breakfast you can buy and they will prepare it for you. Make sure you are not scared of insects and gecko..Because you are in their area. A pleasant stay at Emas House. Squeaky clean place. Walked all over the house, when stepped into toilet, you don’t see black footsteps on the floor. You have to prepare your own food as their menu is quite pricey. Very good service. Pool is awesome as they use salt instead of chlorine. Walk around the place is good. A good place to connect with nature. Drive up is quite steep. Our car was too heavy so a few of us had to hike up. ? good exercise.

We stay at Tapir House with 2 bedrooms, check in 4:40pm which the staff is waiting at the carpark area and direct bring us to the house. After knowing that u need to bring your own food to cook for dinner or BBQ,we drive out again immediate as their gate close at 5pm but they offer to wait for us to come back only they lock the gate. Tapir House has an open concept living area (same as the bathroom)which is nice but need to bear with many bugs / insects during night time, truely nature ? Environment is very peaceful and relaxing, those who love nature can have a good hike here by exploring around. Breakfast is yummy and suppose to be served at 9am but they are late for almost nearly 1hour,so end up it is too rush for us to check out at 11am and we manage to request for 12noon check out without additional charge. Overall is a pleasant stay here.

Great getaway retreats with very peaceful environment, great view pool overlooking the forest , friendly staff and house utilities are all well equipped. Own cooking is recommended and another level experience to cook in the jungle. Overall very worth stay!

Absolutely fraudulent management. We booked on booking.com, for three persons. When we arrived, there was one bed made up in the outside air, in what can best be described as a shed without walls. This was nowhere at all mentioned in the advertisement. Worst of all, there was no mosquito net, even though it was in the middle of the jungle and the place was swarming with mosquitos. We were ‘welcomed’ by the manager who insisted that this was part of their ‘open concept’. However, he seemed relatively accommodating and promised us that it would be no problem at all if we left, he said that he understood and that he would give us our money back if we filed a claim on booking.com. We left and spend the rest of the afternoon stressing about finding a place to spend the night, as it was a national holiday in Malaysia and most hotels in the area were fully booked. Two weeks later, we got a reply from booking.com that the manager insisted that there was a mosquito net present, even though he told us personally there wasn’t. Now we understand why he was so accommodating to the idea of ‘giving’ us out money back. It’s quite sad but apparently this is the only way The Dusun can make money. Don’t book here.

Amazing stay here at The Dusun. We opt for the 2 days 1 night stay in Berembun house with a pool attached overlooking the nature. Loads of privacy, peace and serene. Highly recommend for those that want to escape the city hustle bustle of lives. Suggest to bring own food to cook at this place ❤️

Let's start with the good. Staff are super friendly and super helpful. The forest is awesome. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Unfortunately they ran out of shower soap which Is really disappointing and basic necessity. Then after a day of rain there is no hot water I guess it's solar powered. Overall I love the place but at $200 a night I expect shower soap, hot water and better than basic rooms.
