β β β β β Nice decor and ambient with live piano performance in the centre of the dining area. But, the food is not live up to the expectation of a five star hotel. Good presentation though.

β β β β β The ambience and service is impeccable which made up for a disappointing hi-tea experience. The array of savouries and desserts were not as expected. The buns were rubbery, the mini quiches were bland, English breakfast tea was weak and tasteless and the cakes were neither palatable. The only tasty savoury was the curry puff. Shame for such an iconic landmark.

β β β β β I was planning for a bridal shower for a friend of mine and had requested them to arrange for a cozy table through phone reservation (Iβve told them twice!). When we arrived, they seem like have never been informed with the special request and escorted us to The attrium which were under the hot indirect sunlight. After all the hooha we then changed to the tea lounge table next to the piano instead but I was really upset with the arrangement which I do not think they take it seriously. The food was just okay. Iβve been here thrice but will never return again. Please improve.

β β β β β So far this place is in my top 3 favourite places to have tea in Kuala Lumpur. Great scones and beautiful aesthetics. However, I think the staff could be a bit more attentive and generally friendlier.

β β β β β High Tea which every true Lady and Gentleman would be ashamed of. Before you are allowed to take a seat, they ask you several times if you are aware of the price, this is just embarrassing customers. They should rather give a hint that this is an experience not worth it in 10 years. You have a choice of cheap, packaged tea and you are brought "snacks" without any questions about preferences or allergies. The staff is rude, unprofessional and very arrogant for whatever reason. 30 minutes before they close, they forced us to pay indicating that they close soon. Buying winter shoes in KL is better invested money than having "high tea" at this place.

β β β β β Service wasnβt great. Thought the food will make up for it but it didnβt. Thereβs also limitations to even refill clotted cream to accompany the scones. Only the tea was decent which to be honest I can make the same at home. For the price, itβs definitely not value for money. (RM70 per pax before fees and taxes - weekday price)
In summary: only the ambience was good, everything else wasnβt.

β β β β β Majestic has 3 places for afternoon tea, this place is the most casual one. They serve not only afternoon tea but also normal lunch and dinner menu, that's why the place is not quiet and not comfortable for relaxing, enjoying afternoon tea. If you prefer quiet place, you should book other room. You can choose only 2 types of tea, black and darjeeling. tea set is just normal, nothing special.
