β β β β β Pretty much good overall, they're friendly, experienced, and gave me a very good dive experience. It's just that their equipments and facilities are just a little too old. So sadly, I had to give it a 4 star instead of a 5 star. But maybe they already renewed their stuffs by the time you visited, because I personally do strongly recommend it.

β β β β β Dive centre for cleanliness is 4 to 5 star. But we were given a very new dive guide, so the overall experience was so so. But for tioman standards, I think this place set a pretty good standard. The restaurant is just next to dive centre. The lodging is also next to dive centre, the plus point about the lodging is pretty clean, air con is super cold, got water heater, water pressure is good.

β β β β β Been diving for about a decade, across different countries, TRD still my favorite of all. There are something special about them, felt like they take care of you as you are a family members there, Akemi will sort out everything for you and Reno will show you the best of the island and make sure you enjoy everything under the water in the joyful, right way; love the part when he share his life time experience with us in between dive and yeah, cold watermelon!! Love the quiet and peaceful environment around TRD as well, not too crowded and yet a short distance away from everything you need. Highly recommended for beginner to do their open water or regulars who wanna get their bubbles addiction fixed! Hope to see your all soon. Loves and hug xoxo!

β β β β β If your looking for a Dive center (NAUI certified)... either for leisure or Courses look no further. The staff at this center treat you like family, extremely friendly and as helpful as can be. Owners Akemi and Reena (Dive Master) run the place and absolutely hands on. With over 20 years of experience at the island these guys know what they are doing. Equipment is always well maintained and safety is top priority.
It's attached to Barbura Sea View resort and they serve up some great food. A stone throw away from duty free shop. Rooms at the resort could do with some maintenance but then again you are hardly going to be in the rooms as you would be out and about the whole day. Wifi is a concern as only connects close to the main reception area.

β β β β β The best in Tioman. Started in1992, first NAUI dive centre in the island. Local dive masters and dive instructor. They know the dive sites like back of their hand (as opposed to part time DMs who flow thru year in year out). The owner Reeno is very experienced and best if he takes the group (small) out to the more challenging dive sites (his playgrounds). Administration by his wife Akemi is ever smooth and hassle free. Equipment is kept top notched. Even did a minor repair for my friend on off day. Best pre-book you dives as they have rest days when no pre book divers, thus walk in may not be your day.

β β β β β Very nice center. Focused on quality. Opened for more than 20 years so instructors knows the area extremely well.
The place is very well maintained and clean and gives you assurance that they are pro. And our dives were really extremely good.
Highly recommend !

β β β β β Great people, proper supply of equipment, overall a wonderful experience. The boatmen and dive masters love to joke around and keep us entertained all the time, while still able to guide us around underwater in a professional manner. There's always some refreshment and warm milk tea ("teh tarik") to look forward to every time we get back from a dive. Definitely worth a visit if you're planning to dive in Tioman Island.
