★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is expensive for the quality and portion served. And they serve the worst kimchi I ever had. The waiter/waitress cleaning up our table right after we finished the food like can't wait for us to leave so they can take the next group of customer.
What makes the dining experience worse is that we discovered a cockroach hiding under a folding fan next to our table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy place for seating down and chit chating, while enjoy the atmosphere and savour the fresh ingredients.
This place is fame for their japanese BBQ and sake. Dont rush it, its meant for relax and enjoyment.
Downside the sucking fan is not great, hence you are leaving in bbq scent on your shirt. Second downfall is they dont have grill for you service. You have to DIY, and tendency of over / under cooked meat is common.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the same as Kyoto Bijin in uptown, menu is exactly the same and taste too.
This and Kyoto Bijin are our current favourite bbq restaurant, which to our taste beats a lot of Korean BBQ restaurants.
Good alcohol menu too.
Better to make reservation to avoid disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb service and quality. Meat is marinated well, with variety of sauces for us to choose. Weekends are fullhouse, so reservation is a must. A little pricey, but you get what you paid. Recommended for meat lovers

stuffy place and quite packed. The moment every table starts to have their BBQ pit then it gets really warm. They claimed to have 2 hours limit due to COVID. So in our case, exactly at the end of 2 hours, we were reminded to leave.
Food is great. All the meat regardless of chicken, pork or beef is cut and marinated wonderfully. For us, only the cabbage in the vegetable set is an issue. Somehow it's difficult to cook the cabbage to perfection.
Service was not good in my opinion. Understaffed. 3 person to cover the whole 2nd floor. Some of the sake were out of stock. They weren't too sure what they do or don't have, so need to head down to check.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yakiniku place with old school BBQ stove and good charcoal, note that they usually give one stove even if you have 4pax. We managed to request to get two as half of us didn't eat beef. Beef was good especially the tongue. Chicken was well marinated, tender and delicious with the charred bits. I hardly order chicken being more a beef and pork person but these are good. Seafood however was so-so.
If you share a pic post on social media and tag them, you get a free fried chicken and fries dish.
