โ โ โ โ โ I went to see Dr. Desmond with a year-old sore shoulder, a bad knee caused by my horrendous MCO/work-from-home sitting posture, and a lifelong problem of a slanted shoulder. My first consultation was an eye-opener. Dr. Desmond pointed out areas that needed alignment and has since been extremely patient in explaining causes and effect, and how pain is your network of bones, nerves and muscles screaming for attention. I learned that rarely the cause is where the pain is and I learn a new fascinating tip at every visit. My shoulder is healing steadily, my knee is โfixedโ but much more than that, I feel a sense of physical balance that I have not felt before in my adult life. Chiropractic support should not be sought only when pain has surfaced. Just as we would do a dental or a body checkup, do your spine a similar favour.
Dr. Desmond is only the 2nd chiropractor that I have ever gone to and I have been for about 8 sessions. I think I found my chiro. If you are looking for one, I do recommend Dr. Desmond Yap at Urban Chiropractic.

โ โ โ โ โ Just went for my chiropractic appointment. Dr Yap is very friendly, gentle and professional. He checked on me from time to time to make sure I'm comfortable throughout the procedures. Highly recommended and will definitely return for my regular chiropractic session.

โ โ โ โ โ Had my first ever chiro treatment with Dr. Yap, he gave very detailed explanations about how my posture affects my neck and spine alignment, and also how the treatment will help. He ensured my understanding of my spine condition and alignment. Very patient and knowledgeable, bonus on their reasonable pricing.

โ โ โ โ โ Thanks to Dr Desmond to made me understand of my spine (Scoliosis) condition, and treat me to match my available time.
His treatment helped to reduce headache, shoulder ache as well as my neck pain. He also taught me ways for Home exercise.
Besides, they are friendly and super clean and nice environment.

โ โ โ โ โ I made an appoint to get consultation for my backache. Appointments and confirmation can be done via WhatApp. Ms. Jenny was very accommodating and helpful with her instructions on getting there and getting a place to park. I consulted Dr Desmond Yap and he was very informative, taking me step by step on identifying the problems and carefully explaining the treatment. He was especially comforting and reassuring too - yeah it was my first time and all.
The treatment he gave was great too. He made the corrections - which came as a little shock along with a crack which immediately relieved a little of the pain that I was feeling. The overall experience is somewhat different from my GP consultations but I am definitely going back for my follow up. Giving the no-drug approach a try.
I highly recommend this chiropractor clinic to anyone seeking alternative treatment for orthopedic related problems and rehab. Thank you Dr. Yap and team!

โ โ โ โ โ Much needed realignment session with Dr Desmond. Whatโs different here is that Dr Desmond will take his time to understand your situation and assess your structure before treatment. I feel that compared to other chiropractics, his realignments are more โon pointโ. Treatment doesnโt feel rushed and youโll feel so much better after the session.
Jenny was also really helpful and patient, make sure to make a reservation through WhatsApp to get a slot as they are busy on weekends. make sure to sign up for a package if youโre planning to revisit often!
