โ โ โ โ โ A private tour by Ibrahim, the youngest of 12, was so special! We sat in the bride and groom chairs where Kings and Queens have been before. Learned so much about life in this home and grateful for the familyโs open hospitality!

โ โ โ โ โ Visited here on a Monday afternoon so that may have been part of the problem but there was no one around and no signage About how to visit the museum. I was disappointed as I had read about it online and it looked very nice from the outside. Definitely could help with a sign pointing out open times etc.

โ โ โ โ โ I loved this house and a beautiful 87 year old lady, 'Fathima'. House is still maintained the same way it was over 100 yrs back. Theres no entry fee nothing, but one can donate in a box like kept outside, it's totally worth it.
I spent a lot of time & the house exudes positivity & warmath. A peek into the olden life & living. Beautiful maintained & such a warm personality. I only decided to come out coz I didn't wanted to tire Fathima by talking. She has bit weak present memory, she remembers past though, like in most old age phenomena .Yet, a very charming personality. I loved her & her beautiful archaic home.

โ โ โ โ โ Villa Sentosa is the biggest Malacca traditional house situated in Kampung Morten which is at the center of Malacca. This place can be viewed from the Malacca River Cruise and is very pretty during the night as the lights from the houses can be seen from afar. When you go inside the building a friendly and helpful guide will show you around the house which holds many traditional household items from the time the village was first built. You will find the visit very nice as the guide is interactive and will answer any questions that a visitor may have. Visitors are very welcomed by the people there. This living museum will be very worthwhile for anyone who loves to have an experience and interactive tour of a traditional Malacca house.

โ โ โ โ โ This heritage house is known as a living museum in the Kampung Morten area of Melaka. We had a nice time meeting one of the homeowners who shared pretty interesting stories of his upbringing and family legacies. Worth a visit if youโre looking for a non-conventional thing to do while in Melaka town!

โ โ โ โ โ Love the grandeur, classic Malay house that's well maintained for 100 years. The owner took us around the house and explained its history. He did ask for minimum RM20 for donation by the end of the tour. Well, this is a private home which they've to maintain by themselves and also assist visitors. So why don't we just contribute for a good cause?
