A great grocery store. A very wide range of products to choose from. The price is affordable too. Make sure to bring your own shopping bag because they don't provide plastic bag.

This is the first time I go here. This mall is quite good and big but unfortunately many shop already closed due to pandemic situation. Not really crowded here except the MR.DIY that always got a lot of people inside. It's surprised me that some of shop located is the corner and I will never know unless I'm willing to explore every corner because the map direction already off. Some of the escalator off also so if I don't kbow there is a MR.DIY on the second floor maybe I don't want to go upstairs. On the second floor only have Mr.DIY. There is Village Grocery and got a lot of people inside..

This Village Grocer is located on the KL Gateway Mall's lower ground floor. The hours of operation are 10 AM to 10 PM, the same as the mall, and it is open every day. Village Grocer is a high-end supermarket that well-known among Malaysians and foreign expatriates alike. When compared to its other branches across Klang Valley, this Village Grocer is less packed, and the majority of the crowd is made up of people from neighbouring condominiums in Bangsar South, Kerinchi, and KL Sentral. This Village Grocer, in my opinion, is enormous and offers a diverse range of products. All of the products are neatly placed on shelves, and the environment is pleasant enough that you can literally feel the peace while shopping. There are numerous options for each product, whether you want to buy a local brand or an imported international brand. Because of the high quality and branding of the products, the prices are slightly more. There is no doubt about the quality of the products supplied here, but always check the expiration date and quality of each item before purchasing. From vegetables to fruits to meat to seafood to dairy products to frozen food to junk food to bread to bakery to snacks to powders to nuts to beverages to alcohol to non-halal products to toileteries to beauty care, the list goes on and on. Village Grocer features a large selection of higher-quality, more expensive items. There is a separate section for non-halal products such as meat (pork), alcohol, and so on. The staff working here are generally foreigners who can communicate in English at a basic level, but I doubt they can communicate well in Malay language. Also, the staff are attentive to the customers' questions and ready to help if customers require any assistance. Security officers are constantly patrolling the area to ensure that everything is in order, and CCTV cameras are strategically placed around the supermarket for further security. Cash, credit or debit cards, Grabpay, MAE, and Ewallets are among the payment methods accepted here. The trolleys at Lotus's (formerly known as Tesco), Aeon, and Jaya Grocer are far better and easier to navigate. There's no need to be concerned about terrible events such as theft or robbery occurring here because the bulk of folks who come to shop are wealthy or from an elite or high-class background. One of the reasons the rich and high class individuals come here to acquire their groceries is because you will never see any customers cutting the payment line or behaving rudely to others. I love coming over to this Village Grocer supermarket because it is the best grocery store in Bangsar South for me, and the range of products is enormous. Some of the products you won't find at other supermarkets, even premium ones, but if you come over here and check, there's a good chance you will.

A high end supermarket and grocer chain which retail almost anything you might need for your home and all the fresh produces and fruits for your daily consumption. Premises is super clean with very well displayed merchandise but prices is always on the high side. Recommended if you are looking for some high-quality local and imported goods and don't mind paying a bit more for it.
