H	Hans Abraham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only stay for 1 night. Recommended for everybody. The room, facility, only a few meters to 0 KM of Melacca and jonker street. Since it's at the riverside the view from the balcony at night is spectacular. The church of francis xavier is seen at night

I even asked will it leak and the coworker said no but guess what? my clothes all fully wet because the portable a/c leaked!! only front desk indian lady can speak english well the rest speaks terribly esp on the phone & you will have difficulties to understand. parking will be a big problem if u travel with car plus there's police everywhere summoning. overall 3/10

But sometimes there was a noise near our room (1st floor). The hotel has river cafe, just go to the back of the hotel. The staff was friendly. The location is very near with jonker street. Like it.
R	Rebekah Kotyk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute, clean, AC, with warm shower available if desired. Cafe on the river quaint but overpriced. Easy access all over the city. Hall rooms are not so sound proof, so if an inconsiderate guest is awake at 5am, so are you!
D	David Moore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location and fairly clean. When we arrived, we were told that we would get two single beds and not the double bed we had booked for. There was no WiFi, walls are paper thin, patio facing river had furniture in complete disarray and someone was sleeping there overnight. There were 22 people sharing 3 bathrooms on the 2nd floor and one that didn't have the door affixed to it. The ceiling in our room had 2 holes in it that sprayed water once in awhile. Staff was not very friendly. There seemed to be no one there wanting to improve and make the place better. Good for backpackers I guess.

However, the location is perfect for night owl fellowship session company by drinks in their hands and tell story till morning. VLA Heritage is located at the riverbank of Malacca river. Rest assured the river is not smelly. You can enjoy all night long along the riverbank.
