★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If Warung Leko is the gold standard, I’d give Waroeng Penyet a bronze. Spicy sambal is spicy with a tinge of sweetness in it, not as good as Leko tho. Weekdays promo is great value. Drinks are all too sweet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Order on 1st November 2021 at 8.30pm and I have waited for more that hour and then at 10 got a message saying that they are closed. Do you know how many vendors are open till late? Why didn't cancel earlier if your staff are bunch of babies who wanted to go home to their mums on time. Don't open your shop if you can't handle order idiot. Will definitely letting all my contacts to avoid spending at your shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ waroeng penyet runs on a semi fast food concept. first you place your order at counter and you will be given a number. once your food is ready , the staff will bring your food to your table . there are a wide variety of dishes to choose from ranging from their best seller ayam penyet, prawns, squid,pomfret and more. waroeng penyet also serves a long list of refreshing Indonesian drinks. taste wise, the ayam penyet had a spicy aroma in the chicken skin. it was meaty and tender , surprisingly with the slightly heated indomie noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chicken was not penyetted! Not crunchy. Something was off with the sambal. Maybe too salty for my liking. Not as sedap as it used to be 3 4 years ago. Maybe will eat here again next calender year. Dissappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were good. Fast service and all requests attended promptly. Free flow of sambal(3 to 4 types) and soy sauce. Cheap nasi ayam penyet you can get in this area. Will visit again later if I happened to be there.

Had a delightful meal of ayam penyet, ikan bakar, tauhu goreng and tempeh. Paid a total of RM37 including one rice and one mineral water.
Sambal isn’t too spicy and very manageable.
Chicken was not entirely penyet but very well fried. Almost a bit too dry.
Fish was nice and crispy. The fish meat was still moist.
Will revisit if have ayam penyet cravings.
