β β β β β Simple Japanese decorated restaurant, service is humble and friendly.
All meats are top quality, but grill over gas instead of charcoal. Certain cuts the marinates is slightly on salty side.
The counting can be repetitive after few cuts.
Enjoyable dinner but get ready to pay for the quality meat.

β β β β β There's nothing much I can fault this place. The environment is good, the staff is super friendly and every dish you get, they are ready to help you with.
I was here for my birthday and went for their highly recommended omakase set. We took the middle set which costs about RM400 per person.
It comes with 7 cuts of wagyu beef from different parts of the cow... They were all delicious! The fattier parts literally melts in your mouth, breaking apart so easily.
The leaner parts require a little bit of chew but heck, that is no trouble at all when the meat just tastes that awesome.
The wait staff will grill every meat for you at the most optimum level of cook time for you to have the best flavours. The caramelisation from the grill on each meal is simple heaven. It is orgasm in your mouth.
Yes the price is on the high side but if you want to splurge or celebrate a special occasion, you will find that it is worth every ringgit you pay.

β β β β β We went for the Matsu omakase and it was a stellar dining experience. Service staff were attentive and did a great job at explaining each course. The ventilation is really good too and there's no heavy smoke in the restaurant.
Needless to say, the meat was fantastic and the quality is the best we've had so far in KL. It's worth the price tag but I didn't feel full by the end of the meal and I'm not a big eater to begin with. Was just right after adding on their somen but for those with a bigger appetite, you might not find the omakase fulfilling on its own.

β β β β β High-end yakiniku restaurant in KL - we ordered the matsu omakase set that comes with 7 cuts including their bestsellers, priced at RM390 per pax. Our bill including sides and drinks for 3pax came up to about 1.5k.
Some cuts were great, while some were just alright - I enjoyed the misuji and prime fillet the most, and did not like the tougarashi and shakushi. The others were decently good.
Service is great and ambiance is lovely, but the prices are steep and although the beef is of top quality and some of the best you can find in KL, not all of the cuts were exceptional and itβs hard to justify the price. I still recommend coming, but maybe only for special occasions as it really is quite expensive!

β β β β β Overall experience is 4/5, staffs are all very friendly and helpful with great smile and service. Meat are quality so canβt beat that. Tried the omakase, would go back for special occasion when run out of idea. Would not say they serve the best meat but itβs definitely very quality meat and cut. Encourage to make booking in advance or can try your luck for last min cancellation by others. A great place to bring a date but price is on a higher side for sure.
