★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this place for the first time as Razuken was closed. Very bad, food doesn’t look as appetising as advertised in the menu. And the salad given in the set is so bad, the vegetables are all turning old and yet they still serve it to customers.
Place is full of flies and waiters are not attentive to customers. Not coming back here again, I rather go to Rakuzen few shops away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time tried this place with my brother. We were super hungry for dinner and heard about this new place open at Waterfront. I saw this franchise at another branch in midvalley but never got to try. So it's nice to know it opens near my house. This place has no pork, so that's good to know for Muslims who'd want to try. We ordered sets and ala carte of sushis, gyozas, salmon sashimi. The set was quite nice, ordered the prawn tempura and breaded chicken katsu. My brother had a mix of slices of beef, fried chicken and other stuff as well. The miso soup was tasty as well. The salmon sashimi was as fresh as it can be. Gyoza was awesome too. Overall I feel the restaurant has plenty to offer various meats and different cooking of the meats as well. Price wise was a little on the high side but then again, the quality was pretty good too. Staff was very attentive and service was pretty fast I'd say. I'll be looking forward to come again and try other dishes in the near future. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Chicken katsu set with unlimited refill rice, salad and hojicha. Good service and great environment that suitable for chit chat. Thanks for the good service by one Chinese girl service crew that willing to adjust aircond for us due to our area is quite cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was satisfying. Would come again. It is rare to find a balanced meal of protein:carb:fiber. I like that the salad n rice is refillable (for now) for free. Price is 21-40 depending on what protein combo. Unagi being the higher end as usual.
I came here for my cheat day. Very satisfied. Yum yum ?
EDIT REVIEW. I m really disappointed with this place. Really love the food but the amount of flies here is insanely disgusting. Today we killed 3 flies and the waiters didn’t bat an eye.
Mini fly medium fly. Big fly. All got.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is reasonable. Service is very fast and very efficient. sushi is ok, rice was maybe a little over cooked/overhandled, sashimi is possibly better than another Japanese restaurant here (which was closed at 3pm). We had aubergines with beef (4 small pieces of sliced beef), generous with aubergines, and tasty dish; oyakodon and 2 sushi dishes. Rice and salad for teishoku sets are refillable. Overall, would be a go to place for Japanese here at DPC.
