Customer service - 5 star (staff are very friendly)
Soup taste - 4 star (natural and fish is fresh)
Price - 0 star
Their set do not include the soup, so don't be fooled. Total damage as per the picture is RM 80 for two person. We could have gone for buffet.

β β β β β Overall food is so so only, the fish was over fried, it taste too dry even boiled for a long time in the curry (had it last round of the steamboat). It's also an over priced restaurant for the quality of the ingredients. This is the first time and the last time to patronize this place. And to add on, you will feel thirsty after the meal. ??

β β β β β A very nice steamboat dinner at Yugami Steamboat. The Signature Fish Head Soup was excellent and a must try. Has a great fishy taste akin to fish head noodles and not overpowering at all.
Ingredients were fresh, shabu was good, and vegetables aplenty, not "kiam" at all.
Unfortunately the whole affair was marred by busy wait staff who missed our order and caused a delay of 20 minutes before it could be service. An otherwise 5-star review.

β β β β β Selling point of this steamboat restaurant is their fish head soup based. Different concept from usual steamboat. Both clear broth and curry broth comes with fish meats, veggie. Advisable to order the mixed broth for first timer. Serving set and ala-carte dishes. Nothing fancy. Staffs are quite attentive; especially the owner.

β β β β β We were there at night time, there was Malaysian server have serve us impolitely. We asked her a question about the mini pot. She replied rudely, just walk away and ask us to wait for another server to serve us. The other non Malaysian server had a very humble and polite attitude, he explained well and did his job well.
We ordered their mini hot pot and the portion of the mini pot is accordance with the name.
Hygiene could be better, there is some soup stain on the mini pot rack that the previous customer have left. Hope the server could check the utensils before serve to customer. Rather than scrolling her FB infront of customer.
There is alot veriaty of sauces that is interesting, the fish head soup base is nice but not the tomatoes soup base.

Food: Fresh and tasty. (But refill soup doesn't prepare hot from kitchen.
Friendly recommend : might heat the kettle soup with electrical stove βΊοΈ)
Environment: Nice and cozy. Cold air-conditioning provided
Cleanliness: Floor is clean, toilet is alright, hand washing area is alright.
Menu choices: Many choices and price is reasonable.

β β β β β We came across this steamboat place after it has been rebranded to what is now known as Yu Steamboat in busy Sri Petaling. We have been here a few times since its soft launch in November 2021 and tried different TicTacToe sets and ala carte order. You can order different sets, the ones we have tried so far are the Meat and Seafood TicTacToe, they're both served for two persons including noodles of your choice. We always go for Yee Mee.Β They offer a lot of add ons too-- from fishballs, quail eggs, veggies, and my favorite seafood tofu (this one is included in the Seafood set though). Their iberico pork, although a bit pricey, is a yum but you can get it for a lower price if you order it as an add on to a set.Β Another favorite of mine is the scuttlefish. We really hope though that the set already includes at least one free broth of choice. For the broth, my favorite is the clear fish broth since I'm not a fan of spicy food. For an additional price, you can also get a Yin Yang (two soups in one pot). My husband tried the Tom Yum broth.Β We are not sure if the description was in the menu but I can't remember so we wouldve appreciated it if we were informed that the Tom Yum broth also includes some clams, shrimp, some fish slices. Had we known, we wouldnt have ordered more add ons.
But overall it's a great place and very clean.Β They have several air purifiers inside, helps with the ventilation. We hope they can maintain it that way. We will definitely be back and we will also recommend this to friends.
