β β β β β Definitely a good place for any celebration. Went there twice, the service was good, waiters were polite. The price was average. Food tasted good as well. I would specially thanks to the staff, Ah Fei for his attentiveness. He saw us busying finding the loss necklace, he took the initiative to render his help. Thank God, the necklace found with his assistance. The effort he had put in touches me. Well done Restaurant 1919 for having excellent workers. Definitely will come againβ€οΈ. In additional, to anyone who might be interested to dine in there, please make reservation if it is on weekend to prevent disappointment.

β β β β β Pleasant environment and food was served rather quick. Great service from the waitress, tasty recommendations, a nice mix of sweet and spicy dishes, from soft tofu to crunchy fried eggplant all amazing. We had a great dinner.
Highly recommended if youβre visiting ipoh. Do call in to make reservations.

β β β β β Found a very tiny piece of plastic(blue in color) in Pineapple Fried Rice while eating halfway through , informed the waitress and she said to us: sometimes we donβt see it also.. and just offered us ice cream.. But we rejected. Not even a single apology. Disappointed with their hygiene practice.
Donβt you guys had to be hygienic when handling food ??

β β β β β Ladt night, I had a wonderful birthday celebration at 1919 with my husband and close friends. Food was delicious and service was good despite the big crowd in the restaurant. Iris, the person-in-charge of this restaurant is hospitable and even added scoops of ice-cream to my birthday cake as complement from the restaurant . I will definitely come again and has already booked a table this coming Friday.
