Must try their Philippine eggplant, any dishes with curry, cincaluk squid, and karabu.
Their foods are flavorful and fresh. Basically many of the foods have ‘extra’ flavors, such as kerabu with satay sauce, sambal squid with cincaluk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying 1919 for reunion dinner with friends. Great ambience and the service was superb. Must try their signature eggplant dish recommended by their staff who was well-versed in their menu and even the historical setting of this restaurant. We had the set banquet menu and every dish was delicious. It’s a gem to be found in the centre of KL city centre and they are halal. No doubt, will revisit in the future.
