β β β β β Great little place! So close to everything and restaurants. Exceptional Malay style breakfasts. Owner and staff are very friendly and so vert helpful, even packed us a lunch for the busride to Singapore snd arranged transport for us to the bus station. Very comfortable stay for us, the only drawback was that the TV never worked.

β β β β β We were here for 3D2N, like the Heritage feel, warm and home oriented way of running the business. Breakfast prepare with heart and care. Love the strategic location, all by walking distance to the prime area eg. Jonker Walk, A'Famosa, Stadthuys, cruise, etc. Saved so much precious time to spend with family the max. Highly recommend to friends and will definitely come here again. ?

β β β β β We had a very lovely stay here for two nights at the Hibiscus room. It was a really large room with a king size bed and two single sized sofa.
The place is two storied with no elevator. The staff was very welcoming and always ready to help. Location of this is really great - a few minutes walk to the Melaka river and Jonker Street. The bed linens smells fresh and clean. Toilets are newly renovated.
The ambience of the house has a rustic and historical charm to it with some raw unfinished walls and a water well looking up the air well. The place is kept fresh smelling with organza bags of dried pandan leaves.
While there is no TV or tea making facilities in room, the place has a common dining area which has water filter (so you get drinkable water anytime) with biscuits and cereal, tea and coffee bags which you can help yourself to. This common dining area also has a large TV to watch Netflix on. There is a small room on level 1 with Mahjong and some board games which u can loan to play with.
Breakfast was sumptuous with toast nasi lemak, some nonya kuehs and homemade biscuits. Comes with milk, coffee tea or juice.
Overall the place feels like a home stay with warm friendly staff than a commercial hotel feel. Will definitely be back when we come to Malacca again.

β β β β β Booked out the entirely establishment through Airbnb for a family trip and we were very well accommodated throughout our stay! Catherine was an excellent host addressing each and every of our needs and the breakfast prepared by Nancy was great! Your can be rest assured whether you're only booking a room or the whole shophouse that you'll most definitely be very well taken care of!

β β β β β The place is a modernized heritage place.
Location is fantastic. Just two minutes' walking distance to Jonker Street giving lots of food, coffee and street shopping options. Place is manned by friendly people.
The place it self is clean with well made up rooms, simple yet tastefully done. Rooms are roomy, sound proofing is better than some similar inns I have stayed previously within the same row of shop houses.
Within the premise there is a common living room area and a long dining table area that are excellent for spending leisure time with friends and family. In one instance we skipped the queue at the famous chicken rice/asam fish establishment by packing and utterly enjoyed the comfort of the dining area instead.
It would have been even better if the floor under the under the sofa beds are cleaned.
