β β β β β Lovely quaint house just next to the Malacca River. Central location in between of Jonker Street and Jalan Bunga Raya/Kee Ann. We love the central location and the quietness of the vicinity. The house is rustic and spotless with a charming neighbourhood too. Would definitely recommend!

β β β β β Very nice house to stay and get the real city vibes. Mostly recommend for young people because the stairs to upper floors are bit steep. Nice rustic look and owner is very kind and friendly. Very near from Jonker Street and city center.

Bedrooms were large and air-conditioned.
Basic amenities provided thoughtfully, with mini kitchen for reheating food.
Fantastic location in the heart of the heritage area, right next to the river. Walking distance to the usual tourist hot spots.

β β β β β My fav place in Melaka to stay, good for 2-4 people. Living room and toilet at ground floor with a little antique fridge (good for beers and wine bottle), sleeping rooms on level 1 and 2.
Location is perfect, nicely located not far not too close to Jonker. Nicely isolated from the noise. Well, it's a busy cafe bar and restaurant street right at the door front. It's not too noisy, and, imagine we just need to reach out next door for food order, and they'll knock and deliver right to your door. I couldn't imagine what's better than this.
The house is charming. Very old and authentic local style, comfortable bed, with the classic wooden staircase. This probably is something to pay attention too. Not suitable with old visitors, or, if you know you can't walk well, especially at night, or after drinking.
On the negative side (I still love Leju), this place is probably not at its best state. There were a weird smell, most probably coming from the aircon. Reported to the owner, and hopefully my next visit (3rd time!) this smell will be gone lah.

β β β β β It would be 5 stars if the smells upon entry to the living room can be better. There is this awful smell @ living room. Other than that we love the place as it is conveniently located and love the rustic look of the accomoodation.

β β β β β Strategic location near to river side. Walking distance to most of the tourist attraction. The quiet street in front will turn to street bar in the night.
