The Melaka Sultanate Watermill is a watermill right next to the bastion on the south bank of the river. The wheel is no longer there and all that’s left is the supporting structure. I asked about this at the tourist office and they’ve no idea when it’ll be repaired. Shame really. Now it’s just a wall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, the watermill is no longer there, only the supporting pillars remaining. No information available on-site of when will the watermill will be reinstated in its original condition. Located just beside Bastion Middleburgh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On further read, during the Portuguese occupation, expansion of languages are vast and Ancient Historian recorded at least 84 languages were spoken as part of integration on this strategic location.
Situated along the bank of Malacca river, the watermill is no longer there except the sturdy pillars. I do hope that the wheel will be put back soon to its place for public view.
As seen in picture, Bastion Middleburg is just nearby.
