O	Ooi Zhi Yi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to try a local taste dim sum, this is the right place. A traditional small business, they made all their dim sum by themselves in the kitchen at the back of their shop. Operating in a local heritage shophouse, the ambience adds its value and feel in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is always crowded by locals and regulars.
D	DrYeoh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just ate breakfast there. Came in, we got welcomed at the table and were asked what to drink. All in english. Self service of dim sum at the end of the room. No air conditioning, open eating space with two "rooms". Some dim sum were a little bit cold but all were still good. One pot of chinese tea and 8 dim sums for 23 RM so a plus (included in the stars) for the very cheap dim sum. Afterwards they count the plates and pay at the table. Good experience.
E	E X.J. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I have been to a self-serve dim sum cafe/restaurant. The place has its own charm - seems it’s been there for ages and passed along a generation. You just walk up to the counter to these big dim sum baskets filled with goodies and pick what you want. There is also fried stuff including my fav carrot cake. We picked mostly dim sums and a char siew pau + our drinks of coffee and tea The chive dumpling was stuffed and yummy. The char siew pau and dim sum were both very tasty. The rest were also above par. Coffee was excellent. Tea quite decent. I would suggest the Chinese tea everyone else was having. Place is a bit messy since there are less people to clear the tables. But overall an amazing place for a dim sum breakfast or brunch and at a very very reasonable price. Everything included was just RM 13.80
J	Joke Jong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the most flavorful nor the most happening, but the nostalgia, the price and the taste of the food reminds me of those days where we have good ol grandma and grandpa recipes and ways of doing up their dim sum. Definitely not the Michelin Star nor commercialized restaurant. Warm and friendly attendant and bosses. Really fragrant selection of Pu-Er tea. Worthy of visit and good to understand the Chinese dim sum culture of the area. They speak Mandarin well, not quite sure if they can manage English well.

I especially like the steamed dumplings, soon kueh, chives and their bite-sized steam chicken. The wanton mee is pretty good too. Do try it!

The egg tarts were so amazing, the egg custard melts in your mouth. Highly recommend u go early to grab a few. I also really liked the siew mai. The restaurant is self serviced, you’ll need to go to the counter to order and bring your tray to your table. Fast and pleasant service. Would go again.
J	Jackie Chow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My all time favourite traditional eatery in Penang, don’t expecting fancy varieties like those served in modern dimsum restaurant, this is an authentic cantonese breakfast dimsum house that serves good food. Other than dimsum, they do have Wan Tan Mee, Sang Meen and etc noodles dishes.

The char siu baos were my highlight of our visit. Make sure to come early to snatch some egg tarts as these sell out quickly in the morning!
