โ โ โ โ โ When I was about finished my secondary school 23 years ago, this lok lok had just started to do it business here. This store particle grew up with me.
I still remember I would grab a stick or two of pork liver and cockles whenever I can or craving for it, or even as a appetiser before I had my dinner.
Lok lok is basically a fast food and a simple version of hotpot. Basically you just take whatever food you desire, cook it in the hot boiling pot and dip with the varieties of sauces ready.
I took missus for a stroll in Chulia Street night scene yesterday and this lok lok is still here at the same spot.
I took some time to have a chat with the owner and apparently the original old man who was the first to do the business here had passed away and now it had given to his family member and continue the legacy until now.
It brings back a lot of memories from the past.
