★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Tia was really helpful and friendly. He identified what was the problem with my violin within 5 minutes and repaired it. Also had lots of good advice for violin and bow maintenance. The shop was well stocked with books, instruments, and various equipments. Contrary to Google's statement, his shop offers cash, debit and credit card payment options. Left thinking that we need more luthiers like Mr Tia in Malaysia. Will definitely come back again!

Instantly, I felt welcomed and as if we had known each other for a very long time. He is very knowledgeable and honest in his dealings. He helped restring my violin and gave me good advices. You can tell, it's passion before business. I purchased a book as well, reasonably priced, established and high quality learning materials. Very happy to have found the best violin shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mr Tia is as helpful and soft spoken as previously mentioned in earlier reviews. I got my violin restrung here. Also got to chat about cello lessons and a badly damaged double bass (which was sent to him for repair) a gem of a place. Gives you vibes of a small town place. Something rare to find these days. He also has a very cute letterbox. See pic below for the reason why
