β β β β β Detour from my Pen , Ipoh, KL trip specially hunt for Peranakan food at Melaka....but we went in wrong restourant..
Didnt know e friendly Staff allow us to go in at 11.30am even they not open yet.
Turn up e Food very delicious..yummy lol..especially e Rendang, Pandan chicken, otak.....others also we like it...

β β β β β Came here because most of the restaurants are closed due to CNY reunion dinner.
Waited half hour for the food to be served. Last 2 years when I visited this restaurant,I gave it a 5 star review because genuinely the food was delicious.
Today,it was such a dissapoinment. The food was horrible. Nothing was tasty including the pandan chicken. The bill for 10 of us was rm285 which was very cheap. But it's not really worth it.
Sorry,but this was a real dissapoinment for me and my family.

β β β β β Ayam pongteh tastes unique, but the taste gets bland after sometime, doesn't favour me much.
Otak-otak is average, but had some durian taste which is weird.
Food is quite costly as well. Not recommended.

β β β β β Popped into this place for a quick dinner last night on our way to Singapore. Malacca has changed so much since our last visit there some 10 years ago. The ambient at the restaurant was relaxing and the food was generally ok although it could have been better. Plan to go back there again for a short stay to try the rest of the menu

β β β β β Decent. The food was okay, didn't had the wow factor to entice us back. The omelette cincalok didn't have strong cincalok flavor if you were expecting it. Pongteh chicken was decent, watch out for bone fragments. Ordered 4 small dishes, total RM58, more than enough for 2 people.

β β β β β Polite, courteous & understanding service by manager. Arrived 30min earlier before opening & he invited us to choose own table & browse menu before taking orders @ 12pm. Quick service & hassle free order. Food served within 15 minutes of order. Red snapper could be better as due to CNY, quality compromised. Young & soft lady finger. Medium size chicken had 7pieces of chicken. Kang Kung sightly over fried. 8 big tables with Nice ambiance

β β β β β Came here at least 3 times with family members to eat. Stumbled on this restaurant all because we could not get a table at the famous Nyonya restaurant few meters away.
The food here is great! In all 3 times, we ordered the Nyonya fish, otah omelette and vegetables.
Each time the dishes served were fresh and taste fantastic!

β β β β β We found this restaurant by accident. We planned to go to Amy because it has higher rating and was shown as Open at lunchtime on Tue and Amboi was shown as Closed on Google Map. In the end, Amboi was open.
The food was very yummy. We loved all the dishes that we have ordered.
The cost was averaged to 30 ringgit per person.
