C	C K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aside from the vintage premise, it was one of the worst experience for our entourage of 30ppl (all locals) as far as their nyonya dishes is concern. Taste is not even close to average having tried nyonya cuisine on many occassions in other nyonya restaurants when my family visited Melaka. Actually I thought they were closed for business for the night as there were limited orders we can picked from their menu. It was only 7.30pm in the evening ? Or our local tour guide was trying to fleece us by requesting her (not sure the same lady) to open for business since we were a large group. It was only us inside the restaurant. We wanted to select our own restaurant since it was not part of the itinerary & an impromptu request by our group but tour guide insisted he has chosen the best. Btw, the tour guide name was "Ah Fook"... that what he told us. Our parting message to him...don't ever do this again since he is the ambassador of our ctry and introducing the Melaka nyonya cuisine to foreign tourists.

Doubt we'll be coming back again. Bonus : Sounds of rats on the roof as we were ushered into one of the halls for dinner were quite lively.

The lady who is working there and serving us is really friendly and can speak really good English. It’s generally a good place to stop by and enjoy a meal.

S	Sunshine Ray on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2-storey restaurant serving Peranakan food. The chicken pongteh is good but the rest, like otah, egg omelette, fried fish, petai were so-so. Rice was hard and clumpy. Cendol didn't have red beans but was refreshing on a hot day.
