Very accessible. It is just above the mall hence you have all your necessity shop within reach (Giant’s, Watsons, Guardian, DIY and Starbucks) Near to train station too

Lowest residential density (1 block only)compared to same class of serviced suite located along LRT. Value for money.Just opposite lake garden which has lots greenery. Conveniently attached to Amcorp Mall.

Too many rats and other pests. Security needs to be improved. Also parking payment machines are faulty. This place needs a re vamp to bring it back to its former glory. Location is good .

Menara Melawangi is situated at Bangunan Amcorp (Amcorp Service Suites). It's a 27-storey serviced Apartment under Amcorp Management. Many people doesn't know that there's this apartment (Menara Melawangi) within Amcorp Building which connected to Amcorp Mall. This Apartment is best due to it's strategic location within PJ city and nearby to KL. Most of the people are renting the units here are tenants The most convenient thing for those staying here are the eateries, Giant supermarket & department stores for casual shopping as the Amcorp Mall is connected with the Menara building. The price charges at the eateries are reasonable except for the Sri Suria & Viet Ngon restaurant. The security officers are always on guard to check around. There's guards at the lobby and it's required access card to go to any floors within the Apartment. 3 tier securities; Guards at Lobby, Main Door with access card for Lift, and Lift access by card also. The apartment building is old and not being maintain well. There seems no any control management for rats and pests like Cockroach & flies. The elevator is slow & old as though there's no any service. It can be scary at times to get in. This apartment is abit Doggy because there's seems to be night 'business' going on by Escorts/Call girls. The Escorts are local Indian & foreigner (Thai & Indonesian) girls. I came across few waiting at taxi stop which located outside Mall near Subway. And, there were few girls staying at opposite unit from mine; I noticed loud door slamming after 12 midnight with new guys coming & going out from the Unit. The girls dresses are eye catching and they will come down to Lobby & bring the guys to their Unit. I witnessed that every single night. My floor were at level 25. So this Apartment is not recommended for family to stay even for short holidays. The landlord/management should check carefully to whom they are renting out, and always be aware if there's any illegal activities going on. Be ready to receive high utility bills (water & electric) even you don't use it much. First, whether you usage of water less or more the charge will RM35 once in 2 month by the management. This is not fair for those who spend less time at home. No reasons are accepted by the Management, you are required to pay RM35. For comparison; my water bill were around RM6 - RM 8 per month at my previous rented unit in a good condominium. And, the electric bill seems to be always high even you doesn't use alot of appliances and electronics because the wiring system in every unit are old & not energy efficient. At first I shocked to received RM185 TNB bill (Electric) as I only spend about 7 - 9 hours daily at home which is mostly during night for sleep; out from home at 7am and back home usually around 10pm. I asked my neighbors and they also complaints about the high electric bills. The Management here are terrible as well. They doesn't answer the call and take ages to reply your inquiry through emails. Any request or complain are just waste of time as they don't care anything about the apartment related matters. I'm just fed up with these types of people. Below are my point ratings for this Apartment: 1) Location: 9/10 (Strategic Location) 2) Parking: 7/10 (Ample of paid parking lot outside of Amcorp Mall) 3) Security: 6/10 (Security officers always on guard, some has rude behavior) 4) Building: 4/10 (No maintain of walls paint, crack walls & bad shape maintenance) 5) Convenience: 8/10 (Amcorp Mall has everything from Eateries, Supermarket, Pharmacy, Clinic, Clothing Shops, Spa, Saloon, Mobile Shop and more) 6) Cleanliness: 6/10 (The maid does cleaning once in a week) 7) Neighbors: 3/10 (Mostly illegal foreigners) 8) Recommendation: 2/10 (Never ever rent or buy a unit here; it will save you from lots of headache) Although the location of this apartment is superb but overall it has many issues that requires serious attention from landlord/Management. Not recommended at all, especially for families or single ladies.

lots of fire ant, old condo , and when I leave this condo, owner took my deposit for reform his condo. nice view but live with lots of insects and dirty pigeons
