โ โ โ โ โ Food was decent but unhappy with service provided by staff. Could have better engaging & accommodating staff to manage a large crowd of 1st time diners. Proper waitering etiquette & communication skills should be implemented.
Should improve better front of house service to enable business growth further.

โ โ โ โ โ I went there recently celebrate and was very disappointed.
One thing that you canโt really do at a Seafood restaurant is to sell non-live seafood at live prices.
You canโt try steaming a non live fish and try to pass it as a live one from the fish tank.
Unfortunately this was what they tried to do.
If I didnโt bring the matter up with them, they would just keep quiet.
Because I brought it up, they admitted that they had given me a non live fish, and I was given a discount for the fish.
I told them that this is a very dishonest practice.
My rich friends like going there because they know the manager and he wonโt dare to cheat them.
All I can say to Bali Hai is this: I just an ordinary wage earner and donโt know restaurant owners or managers.
If I have to start knowing them before I can go to eat โฆ all I can say is that Bali Hai doesnโt deserve our support.

โ โ โ โ โ Good food, but terrible service. We complete the order process at around 8:15pm, first dish served on 9:30pm. And upcoming dishes served every 15-25mins per dish. End up we only manage to finish our SUPPER (late dinner) at 10:30pm++.
The table next to us, they sat and order after we complete our food ordering, but their food served earlier than us and they finished all the foods at around 10pm. The food serving process is messy and unsystematic!
- Staff attitude needs to improve!
- Business owner/captain attitude is rude!
- Overprice, food not worth with such price & such portions!
- Food service process unsystematic!
Definitely won't coming back again.

โ โ โ โ โ We used to love coming here. Unfortunately our last visit left us with a very bad experience. There was a oldish waiter in particular that would just ignore us and serve other tables around us. When we did manage to get his attention, he would just ask us to wait and then walk off and then served other tables that called him after us. At first we didn't think much about it. But it was blatantly obvious he was playing favourites. Disappointing behaviour from an establishment like this.

โ โ โ โ โ Always hear a lot of people saying that Bali Hai food is delicious. This is my first and my last visit. I think all their staff really dislike working there. The way their staff served us was very unpleasant, from ordering food, asking for toilet directions, asking for extra plates. During payment, the attitude of the staff is ok...even though the food is delicious, but I don't like the service...I will not going back because the food is delicious, not tolerance with the faces of their staff .

โ โ โ โ โ Hands down one of the best places for seafood in Penang at reasonable prices, good spot to enjoy the balmy sea breeze, get your hands dirty and tummy full with some hearty fresh seafood, I love me some lobster sashimi!
