★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay in Kuala Lumpur. I loved the location - just in the middle of Chinatown, close to the metro, shops, restaurants, cafés. The room was nice and clean and the rooftop bar with its view on the city is just perfect. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely good value for the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay in KL - close to everything. Chinatown is a tiny walk away with thousands of food options. The staff at Birdsnest are great. Willie the owner is lovely and the rooms are decent. They are small and the shower is above the toilet but they are clean and comfortable. The rooftop is the best place to chill and escape the heat and hustle of the city. ? We'll be staying here everytime we visit KL

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hopefully we could change of room and get one that was not giving right to the really noisy street. So after the second night we could sleep. There is a bad smell of cat pee when you entry the hotel, that is not a good first impression... But you get used to. The staff is really nice. The rooftop is just amazing ! The breakfast is small (1 egg et and two pieces of bread) but you can buy your own food and store in the fridge :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, close to the metro and different areas. Nice cats, lovely original art work and lots of character. The breakfast was tasty. The roof is great but could be better without the metalwork at 9am but its low season so i guess now is the time. The staff were really warm and friendly. I got flu from my flight and they were so nice they really cheered me up. The rooms are small but stylish. Nice place for KL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostel is gross. It's crazy because you can see that with some small changes this could be a great place.
The rooms ate small, the bathrooms have a hard time airing out so mold is a problem. The guy doest change the sheets or clean everyday, only when he wants.

Fantastic accommodation at the heart of Pasar Seni. It is very conveniently located to the MRT station and Petaling Street. There is also a laundry shop 2 minutes down the road.
The hostel manager (Mr Wan) was very responsive when making my booking. When I arrived, Mr Wan also provided tips on nearby restaurants and attractions.
The facilities/rooms are clean and well maintained. The rooftop lounge area provides a nice place for relaxation in the evenings to enjoy the city view.
Would I stay here again ? Definitely, I look forward to returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go here!! This is the worst accommodation I have ever come upon from years of travelling! The workers are incredibly rude and awful people. We booked it and informed in advance that we would arrive late, but got kicked out in the middle of the night because we called the doorbell when we arrived! Then the American guests threatened my friend physically and verbally, saying crazy stuff like “You don’t want to stay here tonight, trust me”, and the workers let this happen to my poor friend!! So in the middle of the night we had to find another place to stay, even though we had booked it and informed that we would arrive late. It’s just very unsafe and disgusting behaviour. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. It’s also looks like a trash place, I have no idea how it got a good rating - someone should reconsider this!
