台風台式火鍋 C180 TaiFeng Taiwanese Hot Pot

Cozy place for Taiwanese hot pot. The decor is a drawcard - a lot of happy messages, bamboo signs, fresh veggies, all matched with dim lighting - as if you were in a country home in Taiwan. Food is alright but on the pricier side. Service is exceptional - waiters explained to us what’s going on and prepared our food, even giving us a small bowl of the soup first to check it’s ok. Quite pushy about the set menu though.

A staff tried hard explaning how to enjoy for the first-timers. So did the owner. I like their attidudes and their mind for the service and food. I have to admit i am no good at taking the food photos. For me, the taste of food was a little above the average. But the place was packed with people. I guess I am not too Taiwanese. Maybe come back to try other menu later.

Tried here for few things, amazingly still full of people. And this is definitely their uniqueness. The environment still so Chinese feeling and staff still friendly. Very impressive they keep this kind of good service quality. This time we tried their cny package and it is quite nice. At first they will provide soup base let us try before start the steamboat, then have the special sauce the staff help to mix it. The soup is really special which when you first try is sour, but after putting the staff inside it slowly become sweet. And before end, they will not wasting the cabbage, help us to cut and make the egg flower soup. And the most existing part is their dessert. The dessert is taufufa and the haagandazs mochi ice-cream. The taufufa have special sauce that you can try mix by yourself. This restaurant even have a nice decoration inside their toilet. So you can see how details of them to keep the restaurant nice. Highly recommended!

Very nice ambience, good food and good service. The price was on slightly high side. And their signature dipping sauce is good too, sweet and salty in balance. The combination are peanut sauce, chili dried shrimp and anchovies.

Not really a fan of hotpot but dragged by my wife to this place. First impression is the presentation of the food is very well done, food taste is above average. The staffs are also well trained and attentive. The best thing is definitely their home made sauce which really goes done well with the food. There is also alot of Chinese knick knacks decoration for your reading pleasure.

Totally disappointed with their customer service!!! Gossip in of customers!! I was introduced by my friend to come over to try their Taiwanese Hotpot. Initially, their customer service is alright. However, there was a conflict regarding the cili sauce. The staff told me that the cili sauce will be charged RM 3 per plate and said that if we subsequently wanted to refill, then there will be no extra charge. So, he is asking on how many plate cili sauce that we want? We have total of 5 pax here. Alright, then after I discussed with my relatives, we decided just order one plate of cili sauce to give a try. Well, here the things come, in the mist of eating steamboat, we ask for refill of the cili sauce, however, the assistant manager told us that if we want to refill the cili sauce then must use back same plate to refill so that there will be no extra charge, but if use another new plate then will charge another RM 3. In that case, we said no need first. If we need, then we will order again cause we don't want waste the food. We continue to the shared the one plate of cili sauce. Now, here is awful part that was done by the staff (3 male staff which included assistant manager) of Taiwanese HotPot in C180. They started gossip about us which is so obvious and they kept on staring at our table. We heard some small talk from them and gossip us seems as we wanted to take advantage of the cili sauce. It makes us feel not comfortable. After that, we have confronted the assistant manager and ask for the clarity. The assistant manager also admitted they discussed among us for just order one plate of the cili sauce which the assistant manager may find it a bit of ridiculous and should be charge per person. It makes us very frustrated as first and foremost, the staff be in professional way and explain to us clearly about the cili sauce and charges instead of gossip about us and thought that we are taking advantage of the cili sauce. HELLO!!!!!! We are not taking advantage of the food!!!! and we don't mind to pay the price of the total pax of cili if it is the policy set by your side. But, your customer was not aware. There was no clear explanation by your staff to us and your staff should not gossip and explain to us properly. Our purpose is we don't want to waste food. I hope the management take this action seriously. My advise to manager is that "Gossip" in front of customer is a big No No. Please advise to your staff. If you are in customer perspective, you will definitely not like it. We are not taking the advantage of the cili sauce by the way. I wish all the best to you. If there is no improvement of your customer service, then I can tell you will start losing your repeat customers. It happened in C180.

nice food with excellent service! luckily the lady helped to control our order, the portion she suggested was just nice for the 2 of us. environment is pretty good and so glad that they are able to survive thru MCO.
