★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a rainy evening perfect for some hot soup and good food. Our usual Loong Kee wasn't opened on Wednesdays. So tried this other shop that seemed to have a crowd. Ordered a big fish 2.5kg Soon Hock. Wasn't impressed by the cooking or the steam skill considering we paid quite a bit.
The shark fin soup was also not good. Basically had to just pour it down the throat without enjoy.
Lala soup was out of stock so tried the Drunken prawns pictured. And this was good and great for a rainy evening. Felt the heat straight away.
Likely to try another shop next time.

Price wise maybe 20% more expensive than the low land.
Service (of the plump lady waitress) needs to be improved.
She was pushing us to order a fish, when we neglected her, she tried pushing us to order 2 meat based dishes. (Just 3 of us eating). And when we neglected her by ordering only 1 meat dish only, she sort of showing an attitude of 'beh song'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steam Soon Hock is very fresh and tasty. Pork belly also nice, must try. Tofu and sotong also great too. Overall the food are delicious and fresh. I will definitely come back again.
