★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 of the best restaurant in Genting Highlands which serve live fresh water and river fishes. Their best dish its the river prawns which they serve in a few recipes. All of them are really tasty and should be tried by all. Also highly recommended is their river Patin fish . Prices are on the high side but definitely worth the money on its taste and freshness. Highly recommended family restaurant .

Ordered dishes and a soon hock fish (RM25/100g). Showed us the fish and told us it was 1.575kg. We requested to see the weight as it don't seems that heavy. We think it's only 1kg. The shop says they don't have such practise that allows customer to see the weight! This is the first time that I heard of such restaurant practice. We threathen to walk out and they say go ahead. Obviously, they over-claimed the weight and was afraid to be exposed. In the end we walked out and had to pay RM10 for the tea. Be very careful or they will bleed you dry!

Clean environment too.

Buttered prawn also well cooked and cresh.
Clam meat is full and clean also tasty.
Must visit again but call preorder better to avoid long wait.
Waiteress all friendly, and service is fast.
A nice ambience cool breeze at the highland.
But, watchout for the price. A bit high side actually for quality meal

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New Rainbow River Fish Restaurant is famous for their river fishes, especially their most famous Wild Patin. Apparently, the orang asli will get the fishes for them and hence we can taste the freshness in the fish.
Ever since I tried this Wild Patin at their branch in Gohtong Jaya, I have absolutely fall in love with it. But do keep in mind that their Patin is selling at RM350/kg. In my humble opinion, it is worth eating once in a while. Their professionalism fascinated me and I will leave this comment for you to try out.
If you could only try out a dish in this restaurant, the Patin is definitely a must.
Will I go again? Surely will do.
