Damai is one of the most beautiful yoga spaces KL, surprisingly so because it's literally steps away from the bustling Jalan Tun Razak. I love both morning and evening classes. Instead of being bothered or distracted by sounds of vehicles and commercialism, yoga classes at Damai brings about the maximum level of serenity and peace (because we can't be yoga-ing on mountains and beaches everyday, this is the next best thing). Lovely people and instructors, and a great cafe too!

I do like the variety of classes, welcoming teachers but I find the lack of privacy annoying. Almost every single session is photographed and posted online. Like I get you want to market n all, but yoga is a sacred place and not for you to put everyone’s faces online. You can take a back shot/ general one.. this is a reason I’ve left this place.

Damai studio and cafe are a blissful oasis in a busy city. From the moment you enter the gates under the banyan tree you feel a sense of zen and belonging as everyone feels welcomed at Damai. The teachers are well versed, experienced and their passion for yoga is bursting from their heart chakra. The cafe is the perfect way to spend time between classes or to refuel after a class. The food and service are fantastic. Damai studio and cafe gathered me up and held space for me after months of practicing alone. The amazing tribe of Damai helped me heal and made me feel like my former self again. Damai will always be my home away from home.

Cute place that doubles up as a yoga studio. An oasis in the city centre with Bali vibes. Tasty and healthy food that is vegan-friendly. Definitely get there before the ugh, β€œinfluencers” find out about it.

I heartedly recommend Damai for their yoga, meditation, sound healing, but what stands out for me and enjoy so much is the Cacao ceremony and Dance Mandala events, would love to be more often. I tried in a few places arround Asia the cacao ceremony, however nowhere had the blissful, healing and fantastic experience I had like the ones in Damai. The last night session, was so soothing and took me in such a deep state of meditation, that I forgot where I was. The Cacao Ceremony and Mandala dance ialways works for me to onpen my heart and let go! The comunity of people there is just beautiful and please just give it a try as the space is also so beautiful for yoga classes and you will not regret the experience!

Yoga studio that is nestled in a bungalow with spacious sprawling greenery in the heart of KL. Cons : Was assaulted by armies of mosquitoes (I guess from the abundant bamboos) the moment I stepped into the compound and even in the reception area. No matter how many I swatted away, it was like getting rid of one while another 2 or 3 mosquitoes would land on me. Receptionist lady was very sullen and curt with a sour expression on her face. A smile doesn't cost anything you know. I signed up with classpass where it was stated that yoga mats would be provided for free during the session. However when I was there, I was told that they were not available unless I paid a Rm10 fee. I felt this was very misleading ; accurate information should have been provided from the start. I have my own yoga mats at home so would have brought if I had been aware. Pros : Beautiful studio, great ambience, extremely clean and well ventilated. Very spacious so social distancing was not an issue. Huda was very comprehensive and thorough, I really enjoyed her class.

My first time trying the ON GROUND Barre Core class (via ClassPass) at this studio conducted by Mel. There were only two of us so Mel was able to specifically guide us through as both of us were new to the class. Thank you Mel! I enjoyed the session and if time permits, will join Mel's next classes :)
