Good experience when buying equipment from them, but absolutely HORRENDOUS when bringing my machine in for servicing. (Warning: Long winded but rather interesting story ahead - especially for anyone considering bringing in equipment for servicing at Dankoff) I brought my machine in on a Monday and was told that I would be informed about the faulty parts and costs on the same day. I never received any word from their technical team. Until on Wednesday, I had to call them up myself. After giving my service ackowledgement sheet number, the technical team seemed to have trouble finding my machine! Asking me if I'm sure I brought it in on Monday (Like, are you KIDDING me?!). They asked me if I knew who collected my machine, and said it will help them speed up the process of finding out the service progress of the machine (Are you kidding me x2). I didn't know his name, because he did not introduce himself, and they asked me to look at the signature and try to make out the technician's name. Gave them the name, and they said to give them time. Called me about an hour later, and said that the technician was busy and packed the last few days, and that he was "checking on the machine RIGHT now!", and should be able to let me know soon. Never heard anything from them again. The next day (Thursday), I called them again around 2pm, and asked about my machine again. Once again, the person had NO CLUE what the progress was (it was a different person on the line this time). Asked to give him 15 mins to check, and he will call me back then. AN HOUR later, still no calls from Dankoff whatsoever. I called the line again, asked for the technical team again, and the person said "Oh, I was JUST about to call you only" (Really?). He said that the machine will take time to figure out, and gave me the same speech about how the technician had busy schedules etc etc, and he will be checking the machine by today. I told him off, saying that his colleague said that the technician was already checking it YESTERDAY. He just said sorry and that they will get back to me soonest possible. Said to give me an update by tomorrow. As you would expect, Friday came, and NO CALLS from Dankoff team, once again. When I called this time, the receptionist told me that the technical team will call me back, but I had lost my patience at this point. I laid out the entire experience I've had with them so far (I did not raise my voice at her or anything of the sort), but iterated clearly how frustrating it was when they kept promising updates that NEVER came. Mind you, my machine was just a simple, single-group home machine that shouldn't need 5 whole days to figure out a simple issue. So it was either the technician was somehow rather inapt, or they were lying to me that the technician was already working on the machine. Barely a few seconds after I hung up, the technician called me and explained to me the issue and the cost of repair. I asked for a rough timeline on when the machine should be able to be repaired, he said he wasn't sure, but probably next Tuesday or Wednesday, and he will update me then if it takes longer. As of writing this lovely review (well over a week since I brought in my machine initially), it is Wednesday, and they have not bothered to call me at all, and in fact, that same technician has refused to answer my calls today and also ignored a friendly text I sent to him on Monday asking about any updates. Once again, it may just be my bad luck, but do think twice bringing equipment in for servicing at Dankoff.
