★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a rare find. An authentic Argentinian steak house that serve excellent cuts, great attentive staff, and cosy design that complete the whole dining experience. We start off with ceviche, empanadas, octopus, and the experience instantly alleviated with the arrival of the Parilla mix. Had the opportunity to sample all different cuts. Every single piece are perfectly done. unfortunately it took a dive a little with the milannesa style beef (some sort of fried beef) platter. It is rather dry and lean cut of thin sliced battered fried beef.
All in all, it's still a 5 star experience for me and this is definitely the place to go for steak in town.

What a wonderful experience at Don Julio. Nice simple and cosy ambiance and great service by Elaine and her team.
1. Empanadas- very generous filling of tender juicy beef that is well flavoured. Must Try !
2. Bread basket - this was really yummy ! Maybe ask for seconds ?!
3. Red Snapper Ceviche - A good balance of flavour with beautifully cured fish. Try this if you can tolerate raw cured fish.
4. Broccoli- as good as a sautéed broccoli can get. Order this to get your greens in!
5. Steak fries - this was tasty and well flavoured and fried! Definitely get this to complete your meal.
6. Grass fed sirloin steak 300 grams medium rare - was informed that it’s their specialty unfortunately this fell short for us, it was difficult to swallow after an intense chewing session.
7. Caneloni- Pasta with spinach and cheese, tomato sauce, béchamel sauce with mozzarella cheese! This was really tasty.
Overall a good experience and will return to try other dishes. Partner chef Ramiro was very open to feedback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst restaurant which I have been to and it should not deserve a star at all but I have no choice to put a star as this is the lowest rating permissible. Brought my partner to celebrate birthday few days ago. All the 4 beef and prawn empanadas were burnt and bitter (photos attached). When we asked the waiter, he told us that is the way the food should be, as if we are stupid and have never eaten empanadas before. Charring isn’t about burning the food so badly that it’s all carbon and bitterness. When we complained again, they compensated us with 2 empanadas which were burnt too! They even have the cheek to charge us for the burnt foods. As a good service provider, they should not charge customers on burnt foods or should compensate with the equal number of empanadas which are NOT burnt. We were so disappointed that we left without cutting the birthday cake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a get together to celebrate and occasion. Great steaks . Paella was slightly more moist than I am.accustomed too. The baked cheese and honey is luscious. Smoked duck salad was fresh tasting with the duck adding a salty tang to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant surprise. My friend recommended this place and said the corn fed Argentinian steak was good.
We ordered 400g ribeye to share. True enough it was tender and cook perfectly. the price was affordable too, Rm60 for 100g. we also like the chimmicuri sauce. The fries has a chicken salt taste to it, and was really good! Highly recommended.
My son ordered the lasagna which was huge!
