★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms is clean, comfort, and service is top tier, the staffs are friendly, food is good, nothing I can complain about seriously. Although I stayed there for more than 10 times probably, but only recently I learned that I can request extra for their welcoming cookies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a bit of an issue after check in due to a technical fault at the hotel. But the entire situation was well managed by Duty Managers Rachel and Luis. They were prompt, efficient and effective in dealing with the matter, while conducting themselves in a customer-oriented and professional manner. They also went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable while staying at the hotel.
In addition, General Manager Linda was exemplary in leading her team in resolving the issue. She responded in quick time despite being off duty, and the entire issue was resolved in no time.
From this experience, I have all confidence that Doubletree Johor has an excellent management team in place with Linda at the helm. As for the technical fault I experienced, I'm certain with the recovery of the pandemic, such issues will be ironed out in no time, if not already.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay at 1602. Aircond was kinda poor. There’s water leaking a bit between the bathroom wall and next to the bed.
The breakfast was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ breakfast buffet was one of the best. executive lounge staff were friendly with great service. however, the quality and variety of cocktails/alcohol selection can be much improved. gym was quite lacking in terms of equipment. location was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad hotel management! I arrived at 3pm, the room isn't ready after check-in time. Front desk receptionist say will give us a call when room is ready. But after 2 hours everyone still stuck at the lobby waiting for their room! We don't want waste more time on waiting ,so we decided to left our luggage at hotel and come back later. We didn't received any call and back to hotel around 8pm.
Finally we get our room at 830pm. They changed our room to lower value. I had booking a deluxe king room high floor but we didn't get high floor room at the end.
Toilet have no bathtub and weak pressure in water for shower.
Although they give us voucher Rm50 for In-room dining but I spent Rm1062 two night to get this kind of service is really not worth! They can't manage during peak season. Worst experience ever!
Breakfast had variety food but taste is consider normal. The staff at breakfast buffet are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended a banquet reception recently. Part timers need MASSIVE and IMMEDIATE Training!. Items asked were responded with don't have or never got a response. Only when we asked Supervisor, everything was available.
Chinese banquet..platters with food were cleared and guests were not asked if they were done.
Food average to good but soup was bland.
As a HH member, it was kind of disappointing. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great for a short get away from the hustle and bustle of life in sg. Superb breakfast with vast choices of food. Really enjoyed the stay here. Will come again if god permit.
