Nice and professional Dr. Worth the wait.

Might be a long wait if you're in queue but worth it. He does not hurry with his time on his patients. Very minimalist approach on medications. Very nice man and entertains my baby, which makes doctor visits something nice to look forward to instead of dreading it. Only downside: mostly has full slots so it's hard to get an ad-hoc / same-day appointment.

Very disappointing outcome after each visit. Perhaps good in advising, but not to treat. Too difficult to understand big medical terms which the doctor always uses in all visits. End up being more lost, more afraid, with no direction or treatment plan. Doesn't rush visits (most of the time), but will tend to go off-topic and somehow the time is not spent on discussing the patient's concerns. Would not recommend if you are seeking direction/plan on how to manage. If you are keen to just learn about allergies and it's complexities, then this Dr is suitable.

I have visited few of Pantai Hospital's Specialist Clinic (gynae, gastro and allergies/immunologist) since 2017, but the one that I totally DO NOT RECOMMEND is the allergies/immunologist clinic- Dr. Amir Hamzah's Clinic. Being Amir Hamzah patient since 2018 and what I have observed and conclude is that he is only good at talking and not at providing treatment or giving solution. In each consultation session, he will use talk with using all of these medical terms and it seems like purposely try to confuse or scare his patient. I was raised in a family with medical background, so I can understand the medical terms used by this doctor, but when I probe further into the topic, he will change the topic and go around the bush talking about other issue. It seems to me that the doctor purposely want to prolong the consultation time (please note that the consultation fees is charged based on the complexity of the consultation). If u have to visit this doctor, make sure that u record all of your conversation with him because he is the type of doctor which will keep changing his assessment on u. He can said that your problem is 'ABC' but in your next visit he can claim that he never told that your problem is 'ABC', but claim that your problem is 'XYZ'. He does not record what he assess and advise to you in his computer, but he just write a few notes in few pieces of papers and he will totally forgot/deny what he was saying after that -Doctor also insist on runnig tests which are totally irrelevant to treat me. I first visited him in 2018 when I was diagnosed as hepatitis B vaxxxx$x non-responder for advise on getting the booster dose, but he instead want me to test for rubella and measles antibody which is totally irrelevant. As a patient, want we want when we are paying the doctor is for the doctor to solved the issue. There are no need to run a lot of test when u already know that there are no cure for it. I visited this doctor again in 2020 due to prolong chronic hives and after running few blood test, the doctor 'verbally' diagnosed me as having autoimmune condition and hypersensitivity. He already clearly said that the only way to control it is by taking daily antihistamine, but despite knowing there are no cure to it he still propose other unnecessary test in my subsequent visit. When I asked for diagnosis letter, the weird thing is that he does not write anything about my hypersensitivity and autoimmune condition. I was told by his nurse that the doctor will not write autoimmune in his diagnosis letter to his patients. And please note that if u are his patient with allergy or immune problem and want to get his advise on vaxxxxx$x realated issue, please note that the doctor said that he will not give any exemption letter to his patients, so u might as well save your time and money from visiting this doctor. In my case, he did acknowledge that vaxxxxx$x may worsen my condition and affect my life style, but he said that he will not issue any exemption or recommendation letter. Due to my medical condition, in order to get vaxxxxx$x, I was told by the staff at the vaxxxxx$x centre that I need to get a recommendation letter from the Specialist on which vaxxxxx$x best suited me, but the problem is Amir Hamzah just verbally advise me and refuse to provide any recommendations letter on which vaxxxxx$x is the best for me. So u call yourself a Specialist but u don't want to provide exemption letter, and u also refuse to provide a recommendation letter? Seriously what's wrong with u??? Because of this unprofessional behavior from the so call 'Specialist', I have decided that I will never visited any specialist from Pantai Hospital again.

Doctor is not professional. He scolded me for not attending previous appointment. Short tempered and keep bragging about the medical journal that he wrote. If you are a medical student who want to study about allergy, perhaps this is the doctor for you. But if you are a patient who expect to be cure or treated, avoid this doctor. He only know how to talk, but not how to treat. What's the point for me to attend another consultation session when he failed to treat me. Doctor also does not prescribed any medication unless you asked for it.

Dr Amir has been treating our daughter, Aliya, since 2020. Previously, we have gone to many Drs, clinics, hospitals even skin specialist at HKL and still did not find cure for our daughter illness. We decided to come here and seek Dr Amir as advice from one of the MO in WCH KL. Alhamdullillah, our daughter's condition has improve from time to time. He explained well to us and really give a good knowledge to us. He likes to use medical terms but still understandable. Previously, other Drs does not explained properly to us and we fail to understand what is going on with our daughter. We have spend almost 10k in seeking correct and suitable treatment for our daughter. Alhamdullillah and Thank you Dr.
