★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr.Wai is very friendly and experienced. You can tell her any concerns you have and she will explain to you patiently. My baby’s eczema also getting better after applied her method and medicine after a day or two. Love the clinic’s environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to applaud the staffs working here in Bright Star. They are very attentive and friendly. On top of that, reminders are always given 1 to 2 days prior to appointment date. As now we are in a worrying pandemic situation, the staffs at Bright Star is always following SOP and making sure we as parents and our children are safe.
Whereas for the attending Doctor, Dr Wai I can say is one of the best pediatrician as far as I can tell. She gives good advise and is very attentive to my new born. During vaccinations, she is always very gentle and find ways to keep my new born calm.
Overall, Bright Star is a children's clinic I will highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this clinic through google search and was immediately drawn to the amazing reviews left by others so naturally, I trusted the reviews enough to bring my baby in for his speech and communication assessment (pandemic babies, am I right ?).
All I can say is, the moment we opened the door to Dr Wai’s room, her energy immediately lit up the whole room! I came in that day and whatever worries and anxiety I had prior completely went away because of how she greeted & spoke to us.
Dr Wai, you showed me empathy, you listened, you relate to me as we are both mothers and you spoke to me like we were friends and I don’t think you realize what you did to me that day. Parenthood is hard, you guys. Sometimes all you need is for someone to tell you that you’ll be alright and Dr Wai gave me exactly that. Thank you Dr Wai for being so human. Thank you for the advises and I hope you continue to be this bright light ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I, too, same with other parents, was very skeptical with the super high ratings that this clinic has. The first time I went in as walk in I have to wait for quite long, almost 2 hours plus because it was weekends and they were already full with vaccine appointments.
Dr Wai is patient and thorough, I went to check for cough and flu, but she also examined that my son has eczema, then prescribed us medicine to manage the eczema.
What makes Bright Star really stood out from the rest is 1) they will follow up your condition via WhatsApp, 2) Dr Wai has the necessary instructions ready, be it a video or printed instructions on paper. Honestly it’s really hard to remember doctor instructions during the short consultation session, Dr Wai is very advanced as she will tell us to view specific video at her FB page if we need to learn on certain topic. I also especially like the printed instructions on how to manage eczema, I love how organized Dr Wai is!
When I went back for follow up, it took me less than 20 mins to complete the consultation. If there is anything at all that I can point out, it will be the way the clinic handles walk-in vs appointment. Perhaps clinic need to find a way to balance / make some room for any walk-in emergency / critical medical attention during weekends.
You are strongly advised to call in advanced to check for consultation slot availability whenever possible.
