★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was not crowded when we came here to catch the ferry to Redang. Specifically, we were here for the Laguna ferry - which has moved here since the last jetty was destroyed in a flood. Generally, everything went smoothly but the lack of signposting is really confusing. There are no clear signs where to park (you can park outside, lots of space but not inside the compound because that is reserved only for offshore staff). No clear signs which counter to go to, so you just have to ask. Worst of all, no proper place to sit while you wait. So you just hang around with your luggage sprawling on the floor I suppose. They also tell you to use your own test kit before boarding the ferry but no one actually checks your results so what's the point?
