★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was decent, the houses looked like a well thought-out modern touch from the outside.
Inside, however, the air cond unit was noisy, bedsheets on both single beds were unkempt and looked as though a small kid had danced on it prior to our arrival. There were two sinks in the bathroom and one was leaking underneath. Then there's the shower - barely any warm water. The best you get is still below room temperature.
As for breakfast, the first item I went for was the "fresh milk". Not only was it warm, and not chilled, but the fresh milk was sour. It was rotten, thankfully, there was a sink nearby where I could spit. Porridge/congee was cold.
It's not easy to run a business, and there are many reasons for one to struggle to such an extent, so I'm not going to be too ungentlemanly about it but I won't keep quiet about these.

Room was not properly maintain & need to be upgrade. Need new matress & more comfortable pillow.
When we checkin the a/c was not functioning properly. After 2x complaints it was fixed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst hotel experience I have ever experience. The hotel is old. The room that I checked in had faulty aircond took them a while to fix it. The cleaning was bad. There were like dust everywhere and my nose already feels like clogged. The bathroom reeks of urine and there was a shirt left behind by someone. The price definitely doesn’t justify the hotel and the only good point of this hotel is the staff are helpful and friendly. Please don’t book here. You will regret it. Already ruined my holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bed is in bad condition (room 1303), and the wardrobe is full of dust. The toilet bowl in the men's washroom near the cafe has no flush and is dirty. The plates have foods stains and are not clean. However, the food served in the cafe are good and the workers are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The resort has seen better days... Rooms could do with a refurbishment. The toilet is among the well designed however it is not well cleaned. The wall tiles and floor needs thorough scrubbing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was actually expecting to be near some beach, but i was mistaken. Anyway, the resort is quite old now, in need of internal sprucing i think to regain its shine. Breakfast was really good and plenty with good variety too. Service was good too, esp the bell boy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love Duyong Marina! Been there twice and we love both stays. Although there are others who gave negative reviews about this resort, to me the place is just amazing! Breakfast buffet is superb! Staff are all warm & friendly. They provide a cruise service to guests where you can take beautiful picture with Terengganu Drawbridge at the background.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for a vacation, it was an 8 hour drive from my place and when I arrived here, the view was mesmerizing- but don't let the outside view deceive you. The rooms are TERRIBLE. Very very very terrible. It made me think twice if I should sleep on the bed or not because looking at it looks rather old and unchanged. The toilet oh god, looks dirty. Especially the bath tub; it got stains that I rather do not know how or where it came from. The shower and the sink are not really in perfect condition.
Even if the movement control order is over, the management should try and fix these rooms for their future customers. MYR 200+ for one night? This is crazy, really. And being placed in a room that is in terrible condition which is definitely a no-no.
The place here is beautiful, but sadly the room isn't well managed.
I really do hope the management can improve better in the future and leave a better memory for the customers and tourists. No one wants to experience a vacation staying in a nightmare room. Goodness fix it.
