โ โ โ โ โ Long waiting time.
Bad service.
Worker talked with bad temper when I asked them on the food waiting time.
Don't come to this place if you dont want people to spoil your mood.
The food quality dropped drastically.
Photo of Pao attached,
Can see how thick is the skin..
I believe any other dimsum shop around is way better than this one.

โ โ โ โ โ I guess from my taste view, it is overrated as a famous tourist spot. Their creativeness to create some special dishes do not win my heart as the combinations were weird, such as Mangosteen Beef Balls and White Curry Siew Mai. Not much surprise yet a bit disappointing.
A long wait for the stir fried radish cake and ended up we had to cancel it. Sorry but it does not worth a second visit from me.

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely without question, the BEST dim sum in town. Decor is beautiful and nostalgic, staff is professional and the food is delicious. The serving sizes are very generous with ample seating. Food has been consistently good year after year of coming here to eat.
After a two-year pandemic hiatus, absolutely nothing has changed! The food is just as consistently delicious as before. All the dishes arrived hot and fresh.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the more famous dim sum and tea palours for early breakfast in the heart of Ipoh city. This place is frequently packed regardless of which day of the week. Public holidays and weekends visits are best avoided unless you can show up before seven. And yes, the place opens that early in the morning.

โ โ โ โ โ I should have tried the opposite dimsum Ming Court. To be Frank the food here nothing much impressive. All the food skin like Pao and zhucheongfan very thick. Service also slow, some dish have to wait more than 30min (I came weekday).
The interior renovation also quite rundown dy. Good ventilation for 1st floor and ground floor tho.

โ โ โ โ โ Pretty good but not great dim sum. Its cute to see the average age of the staff being my grandmas age. Service starts at 7am. Not much queue compared to shop across the street.

โ โ โ โ โ Best Dim Sum in Ipoh. Why Best? Bcs ambience is 5 stars, interior design is pleasing and very airy open air yet cooling. ? Came on Saturday morning peak hour 9am yet tables are available (its 2 levels and 3 shoplots together, ample seating available). ? Dim sum served is ็ฒพ่ด and freshly wrapped and steam upon order (serving time is reasonable 15mins since you know its handmade) If you are in a rush, don't eat dim sum okay? ? Service is great, basically you don't need to refill own tea, staff will help you. Price is OK provided with the quality, 2 pax for RM53+. ?
Will come again.
Side note: We plan to come for Ming Court,? but utterly there is long queue of wait and restaurant is small. The last thing we want during covid-19 season is crowd, and also the feeling of rushing to eat just to spare a table for the next customer.
