โ โ โ โ โ First time having Japanese fine dining (ala carte order). I would say it was worth the price. Atmosphere was right, nice interior decoration, good service provided, most importantly is the Japanese food was so authentic and FRESH! The dish of deep fried soft shell crab was so impressive, tempura is crunchy and not oily while retaining its original freshness, adding Rm27 for a full set (including miso soup, white rice, salad, steam egg and fruits) is really worthy. I never tried the buffet but I doubt if the buffet can maintain the same quality as ala carte. Anyway, will definitely give it a try for their buffet.

โ โ โ โ โ If you are looking for something exclusive, special and for private celebration. Genji @ Hilton PJ is definitely the place to visit. You are paying for ambience, service, privacy , not just the food :) We tried the Fuji Bento, Seafood Teppanyaki Bento, tuna yam appetizer and fried rice for our kids. Bill is expected to be around MYR600+ . Well, we had a good time here celebrating motherโs day!

โ โ โ โ โ Delicious food and friendly service. The servant is well train. They know to serve appetite first, then wait till we finish then only serve us the main dish. And all the servant able to speak in English. Highly recommend.

โ โ โ โ โ Been wanting to come here for awhile but never got to do so till now. Came during the mco when they allowed dining in. I tried the genji omakase kaizeki which is a 7 course meal which the chef would decide on the items. I was told that it was sufficient for 2 people so went ahead with it. I guess it barely is sufficient to be shared with 2 people and certainly not if Ure really hungry that day. I would say the meal was pleasant. Tasted decent but couple of negatives here. For the price paid I'm disappointed with the ingredients used. Very basic and not premium. Few prawns,tuna, salmon, small piece of cod fish and 3 scallop's. Definitely not worth the price paid. In terms of creativity from the chef side again would say I was terribly disappointed. Nothing outstanding or mind blowing. Service was excellent but I would have like that they explained properly when the dishes were served. Overall a decent dining experience but if u want to consider it a fine dining experience it definitely failed the mark. I doubt I would return again

โ โ โ โ โ Very pleasant experience! Bought 1 pax at full price of RM75 and get second for RM11 (from 11.11 sales). We basically ordered everything except for the teppanyaki
Pros:
- sashimi and maki were fresh / not soggy
- desserts were good
- tempuras were not oily
Cons:
- service could improve but it was also a rather busy night
We came during CMCO so it wasn't the usual buffet layout, they gave us a menu and we just chose whatever we wanted from there and it was served to us. Remember to ask for portion sizes!
