★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afternoon n Evening hawker and dishes place. Dishes are above average quality and good value. Have not tried hawker yam rice, braised duck or Indian curry fish head. Typical cleanliness for an older penang hawker centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you purposely go to Balik Pulau for “the best hokkien mee”, then must try this. The Bakut is really nice, not too soft either too hard. Taste is thicker and great too. The Kopi O kosong bitter enough for me. Overall environment is local kopitiam style, owner may challenge themselves for better hygiene practice. Love it with eWallet payment ready. Taokae is additional caution and reminds “step” ahead for uneven floor for pregnancy lady. Friendly service. Other foods haven’t try yet, but looks great and coming back soon.
Added Kit’s roasted chicken. Kit’s roasted chicken & duck, RM10 valued meal from the tauke. Rice is also aromatic and texture ngam ngam ho ?? see attached picture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The environment here isn't so well lit and feels stuffy. But I enjoyed the Hokkien Mee (Prawn Soup noodles) here - soup is fragrant, and portion is adequate.
