β β β β β Would rate the latte highly, 1 of the 2 shop that did a superb well balanced, good temperature cuppa around THIS AREA.
Scramble egg was perfectly done with mashrooms, only the roast pork is a bit on the blend side to my taste.
Over all a good place for a cuppa with delightful meal.

β β β β β Accidental find.. but a pleasant one!
Never once I thought that I'd find a good breakfast place right in the smack of Ara Damansara. I forgot what was the reason I went to this area, but hungry tummies must be filled that morning. Going through my trusted list of cafes, I found this Grit Cafe located in an area of Ara Damansara which I'd never gone to before.
They had just opened for business, and we had the entire place for ourselves. My heart was shouting excitement upon seeing bacon in their menu.
βΎGrilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup - melted cheddar, smoked cheese and mozzarella. The bread literally dissolved upon entering the mouth and the savouriness of the cheese felt like a cherry on the topping. The tomato soup provided warmth in the morning.
βΎGrit's Big Breakfast - buttered English muffin, scrambled kampung egg, bacon wurst sausage, sauteed bacon and mushroom, Pico de Gallo. Everything with bacon and pork are always the best (to me!)
βΎthe usual caffeine - good quality beans provided the caffeine fix for me.
Another gem unlocked in Ara Damansara

β β β β β One of the better cafe I have been to this year. My assessment is usually based on the coffee served. The long black I had was a blend of Brazilian and Indonesian beans. Though it was a medium dark roast, it was well balanced and wasn't overwhelmingly bitter. So it boils down to the skills of the barista. I like it when the barista takes his/her job of making coffee seriously and here Ken (who is also the owner) does.
The bonus was the awesome breakkie offerings. I had the big breakfast and my wife ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Both were excellent!
I would rate it a 4 for the coffee and a 5 for the food. So overall, it's a 4.5.

β β β β β Great food, great service, super underrated! Been in the area for years but have not noticed them until today andβ¦ it was great! We ordered the big breakfast which comes with sourdough bread and a brioche in which both were tasty! Didnβt get to try the coffee this time around but will be back for more! Kudos to Ken!

β β β β β Friendly staffs with warm welcome. Comforting food and surroundings. Grilled cheese was yumms with nicely grilled crust, added on sides with flavourful garlic sausage. Croque madame was nice too, just tad a little strong on mustard.
Latte was balance too.

β β β β β Enjoyed the big breakfast and grilled cheese with tomato soup! The egg is also cooked perfectly, just the way I preferred it. Gula melaka latte is double approved! Will try their lunch menu next time.
Then have different menu for breakfast and lunch.
