★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the restaurant at 6pm sharp without reservation prior on Malaysia Day and was lucky enough to get a seat for four!
As expected for the price (RM 50-150 per pax depending on the ordered items), the soup and food items were excellent. Would recommend the newly added soup option 花椒鸡汤 (RM 23) as it was fragrant while not overpowering. For those who haven’t visited Haidilao before, please feel free to get recommendations from the servers regarding the soup, food items, and sauces.
The service was phenomenal too, although we did find them to have apologies way too many times :).
All in all, great food and service for those who could afford it. However, bear in mind this is a hotpot restaurant, and a lot of the soup or meat could easily be purchased and prepared by your own self or at other cheaper restaurants too. If you are looking for a bargain, haidilao ain’t what you’re looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch there. Ordered a few dishes, Only 1 Pork Meat n 2 types if squids, Veggie And mee. Wow.....the Price really shocked me. They also charged rm41 for 2 types of Soup! The Food are very Fresh And Service was excellent, same as those branches in China. But here u hv to pay more. I would say not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When Haidilao first opened its door to the public in Malaysia, the first outlet being in Pavilion KL... I heard the horror stories of having to queue up for hours just to savour the world famous hotpot brand from China. Back in the pre-Covid days, I wonder why so many were willing to wait for tables.
As for me, I'd waited until the hype slowed down and finally made my way there.. on a weekday! I have to say that although there wasn't any queue at all, their team was very fast & efficient. A manicure station for those who wanted to get their nails done while waiting and a dedicated sauce station were just two of the facilities there.
Overall the food especially the seafood and meat were fresh but the difference was the soup base. On personal level, I found that Beauty in the Pot's mala soup base was better than Haidilao's.
Rather than feeling welcomed or privileged, I felt that everything had become SOP for the team to one extent.. robotic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second branch we visited. As usual, the services are still good despite MCO SOP restrictions. The foods are also fresh. Soups are nice too. We ordered mushroom and sour vegetables soups. The waiter will help you with the foods if you need. Prices are above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the time I try to avoid places with long inefficient queues. My first time coming to this outlet and the queue management impresses me. They have waiting tables where they serve you drinks and snacks to cool our hanger (hungry & angry) souls.
Then comes the food and services.
Food wise (price not cheap) it's delicious as most of the food is fresh n premium quality.
Service is very good. Very attentive to customer needs. Love it.
