The perfect service from the team. They served everything fast and very attentive in refilling our tea and soup ? their sauce is the standard mix of garlic, chives, parsley, chili, sesame oil and that’s honestly the only thing you need in a sauce for hotpot ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my 4th or 5th visit. Food quality is consistently good and service is always attentive and pleasant. Mala soup is spicy but very tasty. Ask for a basket to cook noodles so you don’t drag up the Szechuan peppercorns and chillies with them. Bread slices to soak up the chilli oil from the mala soup are provided on request and quite useful. Other soups are also very good. Meat and seafood are fresh. Side dishes - crispy pork and brown sugar glutinous rice cake - shouldn’t be ignored. Crispy pork strips stay crispy and come with a fantastic dipping powder. Brown sugar glutinous rice cakes are amazing - sweet and crisp exterior, soft sticky insides and impossible to stop at one. A complimentary icy citrus palate cleanser is served at the end in a small green (frog inspired?) cup.

The service was OK. The food was good.
Things need to improve :
-They don't come to top up your tea and you will need to call them.
- They don't come to ask if they need to serve the dessert after we finish the meal. You will need to tell them.
- Food preparation slow.
The good thing is they do give birthday month customers a treat. They do give apron for women.
Highly recommend their Glutinous rice with brown sugar it was superb. Their small dessert drink was also nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered Mala, fish maw and tomato soup. The taste of Mala and fish maw soup kind of bland but the ingredients was very fresh. We booked a room and the service is perfect. Price affordable and we like the ambience very much. Location wise kind a hard to reach if not familiar with 1U and the direction given are not precised. I rate them 4 star and hopefully they'll improve later.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food : Ingredients were fresh and tasty. We've ordered their mala and tomato soup. Tomato soup was decent, while according to my partner their mala is better than HDL as he didn't choked on the spicy oil. Highly recommend to request for their waiter/waitress to prepare the dipping sauce for you. I loved their brown sugar rice cake, it's sweet, crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside. And by the end of you meal they'll have a free citrus slushy that's super refreshing.
Service : Attentive and polite, your cup will never be empty hahaha!
Price : Similar price point as HaiDiLao
Overall : Would recommend to book a table before going to avoid waiting. Good first experience and will be back again when we wanted a decent steamboat meal.
