โ โ โ โ โ A well known watch store in SS 2 since the late 1970s, Hang Thai offers even watch repairs and sale of pre-owned luxury timepieces, in addition to brand new Swiss, German and Japanese brand watches.
The SS 2 store is Hang Thai's original outlet and it's one of the very few authorized Seiko dealers that also sells the luxurious Grand Seiko plus high end Seiko Prospex diver's timepieces. It also carries some long discontinued Seiko and Citizen models that its competitors no longer sell, so if you're into some NOS (new old stock) model this is the place to start browsing.
Pricing wise I would rate Hang Thai's discounts as being not so competitive plus their watch battery replacement services to be a bit on the high side.

โ โ โ โ โ Took over 2 months to order the replacement screws for my watch. Lady staffs not friendly plus one of them wasnโt very careful handling the watch. Not as professional as expected.

โ โ โ โ โ I fixed my Tissot PRS516 here. It took two weeks. When it came back, there were obvious scratch marks on the case back, as though the watch has been forcefully opened by an improper tool. (I hope Hang Thai can take note of this.) Highly doubtful that they are as 'professional' as they claim to be. Also, cost of service and repair is slightly high.
However, store assistant was friendly.

โ โ โ โ โ Not recommended at all. Similar to one other review, i changed my Adidas digital watch battery here once. But they didn't close/seal back properly. Got water went in and spoilt my watch. They didn't take responsibility when i went back. Only offered to sell me another watch...... Wth

โ โ โ โ โ This happened many years ago when I took thi RW watch which I bought from them for a battery change. The case back came back all scratched up. There could be a chip on the case back as well. It looked to me as the uncle that did the battery replacement was careless and not well trained.
I also might add, those sales lady inside the shop are very aggressive and keep pushing you to purchase.
I have since added many watches to my collection, but Iโve never bought anything from them ever since.
