4 of us walked into the shop on 4th October 2018 searching for lunch for which is small and surprisingly crowded. We ordered a bowl of Ulu Yam noodles for 2 people , claypot yam noodles, kangkong and black stoat chicken wings. We were served after 10 minutes. The food were piping hot. They were tasty and of good portion.

Modern Ulu Yam Loh Mee, pretty close to the original taste, but somehow felt something were missing. Serving size is generous. Claypot kangkung is nice , tinge of chili padi, and the claypot wok hei presents unique flavour and aroma. Recommend to try. Overall satisfied with the food.

Generally food is good, loh mee not bad, sambal is a must try. We try some small snack, no complain. Service is not really that bad IMO, is more like rough, not rude..of course not soft spoken... maybe that's the attitude..

Very lousy customer service and not serving in accordance to first come first serve. Served dine in customers as priority but let take away and food delivery orders waited for more than 1 hour. Didn't even pre warn about such long waiting time.

Despite this restaurant being mainly serves the Ulu Yam Loh Mee, they do also provides other ranges of foods range from noodles to rice set and fried fishcake too. Ordered both Ulu Yam Loh Mee and Butter Pork Rice at the same time, but Butter Pork Rice comes first within 3 minutes before the Ulu Yam Loh Mee which later comes after additional 5 minutes. Their Butter Pork Rice has good amount of sauces with curry leaves, fried pork meats and rice and it's tastes were good consider that it is spicy enough with green chilies in it, whereas the Ulu Yam Loh Mee were okay as well, tastes better when served with vinegar. Environment were very quiet during weekend nights which felt like a quiet dinner feeling.

The food was good, but the owner was so rude to people eating, like she was about to stab someone already in her restaurant, i recommend you to try the food, but heads-up the owner was someone you wouldn't want to deal with.

Tried two of their signature items, the original loh mee taste good but would have been better if it was pipping hot. We also had their spicy loh mee, not so much to my liking, prefer the original version. Also had their kam heong prawn mantis, OK but slightly salty since we didnt eat it with rice but if we had it with rice then should be OK. Pricing for food and service is alright here but parking can be a challenge.
