★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’ve never heard of Hor Hee, you have to try. Basically it’s fish ball, fish cakes and fish skin wan tans with noodles in a umami soup. It’s a rare food item these days. This is a revival of one of the famous Hor Hee in Ipoh, a recipe from the owner’s grandfather hence the name Huang Ye Ye. Stays true to their grandfather’s recipe. Do yourself a favor and try something less touristy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally I follow my nose to this place. I could smell the wonderful aroma when I got out of my car a few shops away!
The broth and fishballs were fantastic. Not to forget the Ipoh famous silky smooth "hor fan." The owner was very generous with the soya sauce where the chilli padi was 'swmming' in it.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4Nov2021 Perak in MCO phase 3. Shop closes by 4pm. We reached the shop by 2:30pm. Lucky to have their noodles soup where the soup of seafood based. Fishball is freshly made. Delicious!
Kopi-o ais is really good.
Shop is clean and tidy. Hardworking people. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely good Cham and Kopi, I really cannot express how fragrant, aromatic and well balanced they were. You need to get the fish ball noodle with add on. Silky smooth hor fun, rich fish broth, very homemade fish ball & fish cake.
