The service is good with some improvements but i think it’s not just this branch since the issue of long queue is common everywhere. The first time i came at 4pm, i queued for like 15 mins to take numbers and when it was my turn, i was told that numbers ran out and they will re-open at 8pm but was advised to come earlier. So I came again at 7.30pm and the queue had about 20 ppl already. They opened at 8pm and within 20 mins, it all settled since i only need to pick up while others had to take photos, im not sure why though whether they had some issues with their photos or special cases. Perhaps, make sure you upload photos according to the requirements to ease their job too. There are guidelines when you apply online. Everyone at the office seems nice but they looked tired from working late. I dont see officers taking a break in between customers but they do have limited counters open (about 4). I understand heavy review needs to be done for passport issuance hence, it’s not gonna be done lightly so waiting is unavoidable. but maybe i’d appreciate being told earlier the break time in between so i dont need to come during those times. Other that that, thanks for your commitment.

Thinking of making an appointment before coming here for passport renewal? Don’t bother. They allow walk-ins also despite all branches saying appointment basis only. Made the earliest appointment (8am) but was told to wait till evening 4pm instead. Then for what we make an appointment? Tried to get an explanation from the officers at counter 1, but was told off very rudely and not helpful. Appointment basis is not taken in account here. Tried also to reschedule appointment online, but the Gov system does not allow us to do so. Utter disappointment. Decided to wait since the queue started to move only when I decided to question the officers, which is after 2 hours. Kudos to the officers at counter 7 & 17 for the friendly service. Counter 1 officers are just purely unfriendly, rude and not helpful.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience collecting my passport, and it was made better by hardworking and friendly officers. It can’t be easy during this challenging period, but they were very efficient and in great spirits. Thank you for your service!

Overall the waiting time after online submission is good and acceptable. Kudos to the team! Best time to go is during off-peak hours-advice from friends and those giving reviews here. Happy travelling everyone. Stay safe!

Excellent service. Friendly, helpful and very thoughtful team here. I’m pretty sure it’s been hectic for the Officers manning the counters since the recent surge of applications, but even towards closing time (during Ramadhan, days before Eid!) I observed that they were smiling all the way while serving us. This was a stark difference compared to another branch I went to. It’s worth sacrificing your early morning to queue with this level of customer service. I would give more stars if I could. Thank you so much for your assistance!

As a Malaysian I really proud of these wonderful services that this Immigration Office offered to its people. Really treated you as a guest and everything was done absolutely well and the fastest that was possible. 5 years ago my passport was issued here. It was extremely good. Now I came back for the renewal, the service is just as good as before… disregard to the effects of the Pandemic restrictions. Visited so many government offices, this one certainly one of the very best. I give it a 10. Highly recommend to anybody nearby who need the facilities of an immigration office. I had recently tried the one in PJ, my God… certainly their attitude of service, the way they talked to the visitors were far from hospitality or helpfulness. Need a lot of improvements. My opinions.

To be honest, this is amongst the best Immigration that I have been. From starting walking to take the number towards exiting the premise, I felt very welcome with the treatment by their officers. The environment here is so calm and I can hear the officer and customer they are serving laughing (in a good way) for a while which is good as it released some tension after working long hour for me and I believe the officer too. As mentioned many time by their social media and feedback here too, try to avoid coming during peak hours as they open until 10pm. Plan your visit here and if you see long queue, go somewhere or eat first then come back later. Or just come at night. I came at 8.30 pm and I managed to walk out there with my new passport at 9.30 pm. Of course you have to make sure all you documents are with you and print it out. For the photo online, please take your photo at professional photo studio and not using your phone or own DSLR. You will save a lot of time by doing this. In summary, some personal note. Thank you to the officers who has been very kind and always smiling. Not remembered the name, but thank you very much. Congratulations for being the best Immigration office that I ever visited!

Came here to renew passport and was told to do it online. Did it online and was told that I had to go to the venue for thumbprint. Came to the venue the next day and the line was as long as the block. Waited for a number and once number was given had to wait another 4 hours. Came at 7:45am, took a number at 8:30am and waited till 10:45 to be assisted. Another hour spent waiting for number to be called to pick up passport. This reminds me of how things are in an underdeveloped country, poor country where organization is poor and facilities are limited. I hope the government will do something about this. Please open more counters because there were only a few counters to accommodate hundreds of passport applicants. On the plus side, the ladies who assisted me were so nice, fast and accommodating (counter 3/4 and 17). I have no beef with the staff, just that the management should do better. Observe the demand and provide appropriate supply!
