โ โ โ โ โ Tried to go for lunch at this restaurant and was turned away. The attendant at the front gate said the restaurant wasnโt open till 6pm. This was after he checked with his โbossโ. The hours of operation are clearly listed at 7am to 10:30 pm. Waist of time. Shame because this place was recommended my Mark Wiens.

โ โ โ โ โ Jala Restaurant in Langkawi is by far the best restaurant my family and I have ever been to. The seafood was fresh and prepared exquisitly. The atmosphere was location was amazing! Looking forward to coming back soon!

โ โ โ โ โ This is the best restaurant here. My mother had her birthday here, the service was brilliant the staff handed out the presents at the table and i was aloud to bring the cake out from the kitchen! This was back in 2018 Feburay thanks so much awesome stuff

โ โ โ โ โ Overpriced badly cooked food. Thereโs way better places in Langkawi for seafood. Speaking as a Malaysian here.
The pomfret we ordered was badly cook, the sauce on it was so bland and sweet. The pomfret itself was fresh and nice but the way them steamed it has failed to show itโs potential of how delicious it could be.
The grilled squid was wayyyy over cooked and it was like chewing on rubber. Could not eat it at all.
Stir fry Bak Choi was tasteless and overcooked, even I could stir fry it better.
Please never waste your money and time to drive here.

โ โ โ โ โ This restaurant is fascinating, exotic in its decor and food is simply delicious. They offer a la carte fresh catch of the day, which can be cooked according to your likings, comes with 2 sauces and 3 side dishes. Usually the cook suggest the best way to cook the fish we pick depending on the fish flavour and meatiness. Excellent service, highly recommended.
