Food was pretty decent , not too crowded on a Sunday evening, which is good. Friend said pork meat abit tough, the benchmark we compared was with tomapork from butcher table. Overall enjoyable experience. Would like to try the sister branch bottle and boar next

I had my eyes on the corn beef. I needed it. I didn’t want the canned version and I wanted something authentic...It came with a sunny side up on it. The meat was not too wet and the yolk from the egg kind of just worked, blending everything together. My friend had the burger and said it was awesome. Will I come here again? Absolutely when I miss the Brit grub and a friendly neighborhood pub to go to

If you are in the mood for a good pub grub and a pint of two to go with the meal, look no further. J&R got you covered. Highlight would be the famous Banger and Mash and the porky stuff.

Great service, spicy pasta aka (AngMoh version of Chilly-PanMee) tasted the same pre-covid, quality remain the same! Good job chef!! The pork chop wrap bacon is tender but lack flavour, definitely room for improvement!

Good atmosphere. Workers are responsive polite and kind. Food is good. Their pork items are definitely the best. Beers are priced well and other drinks arent too expensive either.

A beautiful place if you like a quiet and friendly environment. Drinks are good and the pork chop is to die for in my opinion. Friendly and attentive staffs. Will definitely come back especially for the huge portion of Sunday Roast.

Ambience - good for pints and chats Drinks- Beer are served chilled and not watered down. Red wine that came free with the pork chop was also good. Menu/Taste/Price Ordered 3 dishes - caesar salad, pork chop and grilled chicken sandwich The salad was such a disappointment. In the menu, it was stated that the salad would be served with bacon bits (to which in any circumstances, an average customer would at least expect to see bit and pieces of bacon). However, what was served was just a bowl of romaine lettuce, half an boiled egg, some croutons, sparing amount of cheese, and a sprinkle of what I would say- β€œBacon Dust”. At first, we assumed that they have forgotten to add the bacon and asked if we could have it. What we got in reply was the little spec of golden dust on the salad was the bacon bits. The waitress however took note on our disappointment and provided us with an additional serving of the β€œbacon bits”. What is disappointing here is the fact that the salad was priced at RM22, and all we got was just something that was not worth the price at all to the extend of making us feel ripped off. On the grilled chicken sandwich, it was clearly stated in the menu that the sandwich is served with fries and coleslaw. When served, there was only fries. When enquired, we were told the coleslaw only applies to the burgers, which was in the same section of the sandwiches. Either the menu is misleading, which is not fair to the customers as it a representation of the orders that the customers expect or its just a cover up, we are not sure. But after explaining that we expected the coleslaw as it was stated, the waitress provided us with the serving of it. In both situations, although we could sense the annoyance in the waitress’ response, they did serve us with the bacon and coleslaw at the end. Grilled chicken was a bit dry for the sandwich. Pork chop was tasty and juicy with the right amount of spice, but would have appreciated if there was a couple of sides, ie fries to go with it. Overall, just feel that the price doesn’t justify the food served. Drinks on the other hand is ok.
